How to install the reloading system and one-click restore? Can you elaborate on it?
I believe that it is not difficult for those prawn-level characters to install the system, but they just keep clicking "Next"! But it may be difficult for a novice.
Today, we will take the installation of WindowsXP as an example to tell you some of my own experience in installing the system, hoping to help you.
Before installing the system:
Find out which disk the system will be installed on first, and then organize the disks. The sorting mentioned here is to save useful files on another disk to prevent them from being deleted by mistake when formatting. Also, if you can't find the hardware driver disk of your machine, it is recommended to use tools and software to save the driver. Windows optimizer can do this.
It should be noted that everything in My Documents is included in the C drive, so don't forget to save the file in it.
As for the path of favorites, each system is different. Generally, there is a folder named after the login name of your machine under C:\Documents and Settings. When you open it, you will see the favorites and copy them to another disk.
After the above, you can basically start installing the system. Restart the computer, and then press the DEL key to enter the BIOS setup. Some people here don't know when to press the DEL key, so I'll tell you a stupid way. Just restart and keep pressing. There is also because the motherboard manufacturers are different, and the shortcut keys to enter the BIOS are different. Have a plenty of F2, have a plenty of F 10, usually start at the low end of the screen.
After entering the BIOS, don't change it casually, because everything in it is very important. If you make a mistake, you may not even get into the system. We just need to change the order of the drive letters when the computer starts.
It's hard to say how to find this, because BIOS settings will be different for different motherboards. Generally, under the boot label, just set the CD-ROM drive to start the computer. There will be relevant prompts on the right side when BIOS is set, and novices can follow the prompts. Don't restart when you are finished. Put the installation disk into the CD-ROM drive, and then press F 10 to save and restart.
At this time, you should pay attention to observation. When starting, the computer will first check the CD-ROM drive, and a line of characters will appear at the bottom of the screen, indicating that you can press any key to start the CD-ROM drive. Click on it, hear the CD-ROM drive start running wildly, and the process of installing the system officially begins!
In the loading system:
Look at the tips on the screen, because they are all in Chinese, so there is almost no need to introduce anything. First, users need to choose whether to install a new operating system or repair it, choose to install a new operating system, and then press F8 to agree to those protocols, and the drive letter selection interface will appear.
Use the up and down keys on the keyboard to move the cursor to the drive letter to be installed, press the "D" key, and the system will prompt that deleting the drive letter will delete all data, regardless of it, and then press the "L" key to confirm the deletion. When finished, the screen returns to the previous interface. Then select "Install WindowsXP on the current disk" and press Enter. You will be prompted to format the disk. Select "Fast NTFS Format" and the formatting interface will appear. When the progress bar reaches 100%, the computer will automatically load the installation files in the CD-ROM drive, which takes about 8 minutes (depending on the speed of the CD-ROM drive). When finished, the system will automatically restart.
Note that the installation disk in the CD-ROM drive should be removed at this time to avoid automatic reading after restarting.
After restarting, enter the installation interface again. At this point, please put the installation disk back to its original place and continue the installation. You hardly need to make any settings. Click "Next". But there is a process of entering the serial number in the middle, which needs to be done manually.
This process takes about 40 minutes, during which the screen will display some related functional information about windowsXP, so you can pay attention to it. When finished, you will be prompted to take out the installation disk. After you take it out, restart it, and by the way, enter the BIOS to change the boot order back to the hard disk boot, and basically complete the installation process!
After installing the system:
The drivers of common hardware have been installed after entering the system, but not all of them. At this time, the user needs to install it himself. First check which drivers of the machine are not installed! Right-click My Computer, select Properties, and then click Device Manager in the Hardware tab. Anything with a question mark icon in front of the device indicates that there is something wrong with the device. Double-click the installation driver according to the above prompt. Until all the previous "question marks" disappeared.
Drivers that need to be installed generally include graphics cards, sound cards, network cards and cats. Some advanced machines also have drivers for adapters such as infrared and Bluetooth.
The following are some optimization settings of the system. If your machine configuration is not high, I suggest you do as I say.
1 & gt; Right-click the screen and select Properties. Click the "Appearance" tab, select "Windows Classic Style" in the "Appearance and Buttons" drop-down menu, and then in the "Settings" tab, adjust the case of the screen resolution according to your personal preference, generally 1024*768. If you use an ordinary CRT monitor, you need to click the "Monitor" tab again and adjust the "Screen Refresh Frequency" to "85 Hz". Click OK! Does the screen look much more comfortable?
2> Right-click the taskbar, select Properties, and select the check box before Show Quick Launch in the Taskbar tab. Then click the "Start Menu" tab, change the menu category to "Classic Start Menu", and click "OK" to see if it is more comfortable now. Hey, personal feeling! )
3> Right-click my computer and select the Advanced tab. Click the Settings button in the performance item. Click "Adjust to Best Performance" in the visual effects item, and then select "Use common tasks in folders" from the following options. As shown in the figure below:
Do this, and then click the Advanced tab next to Visual Effects, and click the Settings button in virtual memory. In the property box that opens, first position the cursor on drive C, click "No Paging File" below, then click drive D (click the drive with more space on the machine), enter the corresponding value in the custom size, click the "Settings" button next to it, and then click OK. As shown in the figure below:
The setting of virtual memory depends on its own memory capacity! Generally, it is 1.5 times the capacity of the memory itself!
4> Right-click My Computer and select the System Restore tab. If not, select "Turn off system restore on all drives", most people don't need it!
5> At this time, you will find a "shield" icon on the system tray in the lower right corner of the screen, which is the security center of WindowsXP. Double-click to open it. When you don't have your own antivirus software installed, you can open "firewall" and "virus protection" at the same time. This will be relatively safe!
6> When you are finished, click Start and select windows Update. At this time, IE will be automatically opened to connect to the Windows upgrade website, and the steps are essential! After the upgrade is completed, you may need to restart your computer.
7> Open any folder, click Tools from the menu bar, and then select Folder Options. Click the View tab, and uncheck three categories: Do not cache thumbnails, remember the viewing location of each folder, and display prompt information when the mouse points to a folder or desktop item. Click "Apply to all folders" above, and then click "OK"!
8> Right-click IE, select Properties, click Use Blank Page in the General tab, and then click OK!
last words
At this point, our novice installation system has basically been introduced, but I also want to remind you of a few points:
1 & gt; Antivirus software must be installed, updated frequently, and disinfected regularly. Don't think that you won't be poisoned if you don't mess with the website.
2> system must be patched. Microsoft releases patches in the second week of every month, and then it must be updated according to the method I mentioned above.
3> Don't download and install software indiscriminately. The download links provided by many informal websites may be infected with viruses or bound with a bunch of junk software. Be sure to check the options and check the unnecessary software when downloading.
4> Don't change computer settings or delete computer files at will.
