Plan to build three high-speed railways and two railways.

Three expressways, Neijiang-Anyue-Tongnan-Vu Thang-Guang 'an, Tongnan-Hechuan and Tongnan-Dazu-Rongchang, have been planned and constructed. These three expressways will connect Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway, Chongqing adjacent expressway and Chengdu-Chongqing double-track expressway into an expressway network, and the connection between Chengdu and Chongqing will be closer.
