Although it is a "hidden flower", it will actually be pollinated by an insect called the fig wasp, which will drill into the fig from the top hole to pollinate it, and this insect is also an insect domesticated by the fig in evolution. Therefore, figs are also called "animal trainers" in the plant kingdom.
