What is your favorite city? Why do you love this city? Talk about the characteristics of this city.

I have been to many cities. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. are all big cities, and there is no difference.

There is only one city, "Tianjin".

My reason is:

The people there are good and the people are simple. I remember one time I went to a place called "Food Street". Since I was a foreigner, I just asked around. The Tianjin man didn't say anything, he just made a gesture, meaning come with me. We three young men were following behind, while the man was walking in front. After walking for 10 minutes, we were getting farther and farther away from him, and we were really scared. Who knows where he led us, turning left and right. But when he finally reached a street, he pointed and said, "It's just ahead." Previously we thought he couldn't speak.

Another story is that some of our friends were eating in a restaurant and wanted to go to the toilet. Because of the habit I developed in college, I like to go together. But the toilet is upstairs and we eat downstairs. You can't bring this leather bag or anything with you. Because I have stayed in Tianjin for a long time, I trust the people here. So the three of us went upstairs to use the toilet. The leather bags were placed on the seats, and a buddy left his newly bought color-screen mobile phone on the table. You know, there were a lot of people in the restaurant, but when we came back, everything was there and nothing had moved.

These two things are small things, but they can feel something.

So, my favorite city is Tianjin.
