Students often ask questions about interview attire, which can only be divided into several aspects: can I wear this or that for an interview; this when interviewing this company? Can the position be this or that? Can it be this way in winter/summer?

Personal opinion:

1. Looking for a job is a serious matter, and we should take it seriously. Wearing formal clothes can be said to be the right thing to do. A kind of respect from the other unit also reflects a professional image of oneself.

When our group of children are used to being loose in school, don’t we look very energetic and elegant in formal clothes?

Therefore, we must wear it for interviews. Formal wear. Of course, if your HR informs you that you don’t need to wear formal attire when you go for the interview, that’s a different matter. I believe that if it is not stated in the notice, the underlying meaning is that you must attend in formal attire.

2. Formal attire will be the standard for office workers in the future. If you continue to study, I am sure that there will be many, many opportunities for you to make an appearance during school. If you can borrow it then, Firstly, it is inconvenient, and secondly, I am afraid of being inappropriate.

If you are determined to find a job but are lucky and want to temporarily rely on borrowing formal clothes and other clothes to cope with the interview, I can only say that I am sorry. Some students may say that they are too busy looking for a job and submitting resumes, so they have no time to buy formal clothes. This reason is completely insufficient and unnecessary. Maybe it's because of this dress issue that we lost a valuable opportunity.

Because having our own set of decent formal attire is an important part of our job search.

3. Summer is here, winter is here. It is indeed hot in summer, uncomfortable in sauna days, and freezing and windy in winter. But what if we happen to catch up with an interview or an important occasion and need formal attire? It’s easy to handle. If you can't stand it, let me tell you a method that cannot be deviated from. I learned it from a friend at Tsinghua University.

In summer, served cold. Wear any cool attire, along with our formal attire. We climbed over mountains and ridges, crossed the sea of ??people, squeezed out of the subway, and finally arrived at the foot of a certain building. Okay, find a store, Starbucks, KFC, or McDonald's to change. If necessary, take off your clothes after you've finished eating, to ensure you're in a good mood.

Winter plan: Wear a thick windbreaker, which is more elegant. Of course, if you don’t have a windbreaker, you can put on our down jacket. You must take it off before entering the company and fold it neatly before entering. Show the warmth (joke) brought to us by the other company's office and our own neatness. Of course, no matter whether it is a windbreaker or a cotton-padded coat, it must be a formal suit underneath!

If it is fully buttoned or only the second button is buttoned, it does not meet the standards. If it is three buttoned, it is standard if it is buttoned with the top two buttons or only the middle button.

7. It is not advisable to put too many things in the jacket pockets and trouser pockets of suits. Don’t wear too much underwear when wearing a suit. It’s best to only wear one shirt in spring and autumn.

8. The color and pattern of the tie should be coordinated with the suit. When wearing a tie, the length of the tie should be enough to touch the belt buckle, and the tie clip should be worn between the fourth and fifth buttons of the shirt.

9. The trademark label on the cuffs of a suit should be removed, otherwise it will not comply with the dress code of suits and will make people laugh in elegant occasions.

10. The last thing is, when it comes to formal attire, remember not to buy off-brand products or off-brand clothing. Generally speaking, this does not help us find a job. Formal suits that are more suitable for fresh graduates to apply for jobs. Personally, I prefer Shangke, which is cost-effective and high-end.
