The Historical Significance of the Long March

1. The victory of the Long March of the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants is a miracle in human history. The Red Army's Long March moved to fourteen provinces in a year, and after many twists and turns, it overcame many difficulties and obstacles, preserved and exercised the revolutionary backbone, and moved the base camp of China revolution to the northwest, creating conditions for the development of the revolutionary cause in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and China.

2. As we all know, the Long March from 1934 to 1936 is a miracle in human history. In the whole two years, the Red Army moved to 14 province, broke through the siege and blockade of hundreds of thousands of enemy troops, and sang the triumph of strategic shift, which is a heroic epic written by mortals in the history of modern human war.

Nowadays, the smoke of war has dispersed, and the place where the swords and shadows met in the past has long been calm. When wealth and well-being make us regard the efforts of our predecessors as just a page in the history book, how should we face this history, treat it well and remember it? I think what is truly memorable and unforgettable has been integrated into our national collective unconscious and passed down from generation to generation through our genetic inheritance. For example, our Chinese nation is hardworking, kind and simple. Is the "Long March Spirit" a part of our collective unconscious? What does it have to do with other parts of the collective unconscious of our country? It will take time to directly verify whether the "Long March Spirit" is an unconscious part of the national collective, but it is indeed possible to find out its connection with other unconscious parts of our national collective.

4. Chinese sons and daughters who benefit from Chinese civilization, national spirit based on Confucius and Mencius, Confucianism, etc. As a tradition and belief, it exists in the hearts of every common people, and it is also a political concept of nourishing qi and leveling the world. In some cases, it will consciously or unconsciously show this spiritual strength.
