The antithesis of this couplet is unique in the stability of the work, and comprehensively summarizes and evaluates Guan Yu's appearance, mount, weapon, hobby and moral quality. The couplets use the word-to-word technique of color emphasis, with four reds and four greens, which is interesting and unforgettable.

This couplet strongly praises Guan Yu's courage and righteousness. Reading couplets, we can't help thinking that Guan Yu was in Cao Ying and his heart was in the Han Dynasty.
