Psychological counselors want to talk to AIDS patients.

I am a disease prevention and control worker, engaged in AIDS prevention and management for more than two years. Every time I look at the rising incidence of AIDS epidemic analysis, a sense of urgency will wrap around my chest, especially those young patients who have been reported one after another, which will be extremely sad. The years that should have been carefree and happy to grow up, and the years that should have unlimited prospects, are now in vain.

I started studying psychology four years ago and got the qualification certificate of psychological counselor for two years. The original intention is to know ourselves better, communicate with family better and embrace a happy life. Recently, when reading the book "Trauma and Rehabilitation" with a group of readers, I had a deeper understanding of the physical and psychological double blow suffered by AIDS patients. At the same time, I came up with an idea to set up a psychological counseling group for AIDS patients and help them with what I have learned.

Today is World AIDS Day. On this special day, I also want to talk to AIDS patients from a psychological point of view.

From denial, luck and subsequent repeated examination, doubt and fantasy in the early stage of infection, to complaints, anger and subsequent anxiety, smoking and alcoholism, and even taking drugs to retaliate against the thoughts and behaviors of society or others, to acceptance, regret, fear of being isolated or even abandoned by family and society, frustration and despair of losing confidence in future life, and finally to calmness, reflection, reintegration into society and active treatment, AIDS patients or

What I want to say to every AIDS patient is that life can be crushed by disasters or sublimated in disasters. Faced with HIV, do you choose to sink or nirvana? In fact, this right is always in your own hands. I think you can completely adjust your psychology and return to society. There is a saying called "live long", which means you can see everything if you live long. With the rapid development of medicine today, we have reason to believe that the day of curing AIDS will surely come. What we have to do now is to live, right? So how do we adjust ourselves?

The first thing is to build trust in society and ourselves, otherwise, we will isolate ourselves and lose our sense of belonging and basic security. The government pays more and more attention to the prevention and treatment of AIDS, friends circle and other channels, and a lot of popular science propaganda about AIDS prevention and treatment knowledge is making our society face AIDS patients and HIV carriers with an increasingly open attitude, especially medical staff. At present, the government of China has invested a lot of money, so patients can get regular antiviral treatment for free as long as they are diagnosed. A civilized society should try its best to protect every member of it to ensure that the interests of all people are guaranteed. Resentment and revenge cannot eliminate social prejudice. When we stop respecting others, we cannot expect others to respect us.

The second is to face the reality bravely and treat it as soon as possible. In fact, when I take a blood test, I will always tell myself that my luck will not be so bad and I will definitely be negative. After I get the confirmation result of AIDS, I will be reluctant to believe it is true at first. This kind of denial is our psychological self-protection, which is conducive to protecting mental health in a short time after the disaster. However, long-term denial will lead to deeper psychological conflict and delay treatment. The HIV in our body will not disappear because you don't admit it.

Third, actively seek social support. If you can get the help of social support such as family members and close relationships, it will be of great help to the treatment. When necessary, it is appropriate to turn to psychological counseling or psychotherapy.

The fourth is active action and active life. Only action can change a person. People only cherish life more when they want to lose it. In fact, many people living in the world may never think of the day of death, so many lives have been wasted. AIDS tells you that life is limited and you should cherish it. Some patients or infected people live in anxiety and depression, some indulge in self-abandonment, some live in peace, and more and more people live in active struggle. What kind of present you choose is what kind of future you choose, which is correct for anyone. Born to die, life is often more exciting.
