What is the food of China finches?

China finch: In May of 20 12, a new species-China finch was discovered in the northern mountainous area of Zhuanghe, Liaoning. China finch is a small bird of finch family. This species has been listed in the List of Terrestrial Wild Animals under National Key Protection or with Important Economic and Scientific Research Value issued by the State Forestry Administration in August 2000 1. It is distributed in the easternmost part of Russia and northeast China, and migrated to Japan, Korea and eastern China.

China finches generally inhabit reeds and broad-leaved trees such as willow, birch and poplar. They mainly feed on insects, but also eat leaves, flowers, buds, pollen and juice of plants. The way to catch prey is the same as ordinary tits.

It is worth noting that the Chinese finch is known as a master of bird architecture and a skillful craftsman among birds. Its nesting skills are amazing, and it doesn't need any support points. The whole bird's nest was tied to the treetops and swayed leisurely in the air.

In the huge bird society, there are very few species of finches. Even if all subspecies are counted, there are only 10 species of finches, such as white-crowned finches, Chinese finches and European finches.
