Yunnan colorful rice who knows?

Colorful flower rice is the traditional staple food of the Zhuang Flower Rice Festival, which falls on the first horse day in June of the lunar calendar every year. The main raw materials for making flower rice are turmeric, buttercup and indigo leaves. The roots, stems, flowers and leaves of these plants were mashed to extract seven pigments: red, yellow, blue, green, purple, black and white, and the juices of the seven colors were poured into the washed high-quality glutinous rice.
