After working for several years, the author found that all friends or colleagues who have made achievements have the following characteristics.

First of all, their goals are very clear. So, if you want to change your present situation, you might as well stop what you are doing and plan your future carefully. This time won't be long, but it will bring you unexpected gains. The ancients said that everything is established in advance, and if it is not planned, it will be abolished. This is a fact. People's energy and time in this life are limited, and they are ignorant before 18 years old, let alone independent. After the age of 60, although there are ideas, it is often enough to have spare capacity. Therefore, in fact, the time to really have time to do what you want to do is only over 40 years. Therefore, it is important to have a clear goal, otherwise you can only feel sorry for yourself in your later years.

Second, if you want to achieve something, you must cultivate deeply, which is the so-called 10000 hour theorem. Deep ploughing can make you a world authority and have the right to speak. With a set goal, you need to practice and learn constantly. Why do you need to keep learning? Because the social environment is changing all the time, you must always keep up with the pace of social development. Only in this way can you see the opportunity and seize it.

Third, they are good at learning and know how to expand their extra skills. The popular slash youth in recent years is such a figure. They not only deeply cultivate their own majors, but also constantly expand horizontally, firmly holding the initiative in their own hands. Imagine if your company integrates upstream and downstream suppliers, what will be the result, pricing power and discourse power.

To this end, if you want to achieve something, then choosing a direction and making a good plan is the first step, followed by continuous efforts. Relatively speaking, direction is more important than hard work, and then expand horizontally! Originally, he did well in the testing department, but he felt that there was nothing to learn, so he wanted to leave and transfer. Because I taught myself project management during this period, I plan to change jobs to do project management after leaving my job. Later, our leader took a fancy to him and thought he was a talent, so he was persuaded to join our project management department. According to common sense, such people who intend to leave their jobs will not stay. Later, I learned that he thought that although he taught himself project management, his first job was to be a test engineer, and he was worried about the impact of going out to find a job, so he planned to complete the identity change in his old employer. Later, I left Shenzhen for some reasons, but I still kept in touch frequently. To my surprise, at a recent dinner party, he told me that he was going to DJI, P4 Post, which shocked me. After all, DJI has laid off employees before. From the testing department to the project management department, and now to DJI, his gorgeous turn again and again really amazed me. Because they are similar in age, they usually talk a lot. He always emphasizes that all this today is due to good planning, but he is also a hard worker.
