You Chuntu by Zhan Ziqian is already a relatively independent landscape work. This painting depicts the spring outing of aristocratic scholars. The picture shows rolling mountains, vast rivers, jagged trees, surrounded by white clouds, a boat rippling in the water, and two fine horses following. The ratio of characters to landscape trees is very correct and appropriate.

We can see that Zhan Ziqian's paintings did not adopt the painting method commonly used in landscape painting later, but were filled with cross lines, and the color was mainly turquoise. This painting influenced later generations and made a landscape painter in the Tang Dynasty.
