Let me give you an example. Let's see if this is a sign of low emotional intelligence.

A classmate is a compatriot I met abroad. She has just been here for less than half a year, with excellent grades, outgoing personality and the courage to show herself. She really wants to blend in with foreign locals and become a good friend.

Just happened to meet Obama's inaugural speech (I don't want to talk about the United States, the plot needs to be exposed), and a group of students (mostly Americans) said that they would go together. Everyone planned to leave at 3 am (yes, American college students are all fans of Obama, so they went out to queue at 3 am, and the ceremony didn't start until morning. It's January in Nima, and so is DC (needless to say how cold it is). A classmate goes to get along together. As a result, I complained all the way (complaining in English: you Americans are sick, I don't understand, just watch the live broadcast at home, why do you want to come out and catch cold? Besides, China people have a loud voice, so she can't stand staring at them all the way, which makes her American classmates very embarrassed. From then on, everyone thought this classmate was very strange. If you don't like coming, don't come, complaining all the time.

One day, classmate A was making xx Sydney soup (name forgotten). She said that her boss (a foreigner) caught a cold, and she was going to make it and take it to her boss tomorrow (but classmate A has only been working for a week, so it's strange that the boss wouldn't be scared to death to bring such soup with China characteristics = =).
