But where did my master learn this method, and then I traced it back to Hui Yuan, so later generations also thought that Hui Yuan was a master.

The society created by Hui Yuan is called "White Lotus" one by one. Therefore, the Pure Land Sect was later called "Lotus Sect". Here I will talk about why Buddhists love lotus flowers but don't touch mud (Tao Yuanming had a good relationship with him at that time, and it is estimated that he was influenced to drink). This is partly because Buddhists talk about cause and effect, and in cognition, lotus bears fruit, and both of them appear at the same time. Why is it called "White Lotus Sect"? There's another reason. He once swore an oath with Liu Yimin and others in front of the statue of Amitabha, just like brothers of gangs, and became sworn brothers. Before Huiyuan, monks in all previous dynasties had to bow down to the emperor, and this kind of bow-down ceremony, which was respected by Confucianism, began in the Xia Dynasty and became a Confucian classic by Duke Zhou and Confucius. People in future generations can do anything. The old monk wrote a book "On Shaman's Disrespect for the King" for this matter, which made Huan Xuan, who was usurping the throne at that time, write a letter to establish the rules of monks' disrespect for the emperor, and since then it has become the written law of China.

Let's start with the case of Pure Land Sect, which is the only Buddhist in China who asks to recite Buddha. The key is that you should read the Buddha well. This method takes Buddhism as the main line, with pure industry, five precepts and ten good and three blessings as auxiliary resources. Pure land belief is the basic belief of Buddhism, and most Mahayana sects return to pure land. Although Hui Yuan's chanting of Buddhism is different from later generations, his original method makes the teachings of Buddhism simple and accepted by ordinary people. Therefore, the Pure Land Sect flourished in China, such as the Infinite Life Sutra, the Amitabha Sutra, the Samadha Sutra, and the Samadha Sutra. Do it for a day or two, or try it for a year, so that you can read Buddha all your life. Without strong belief support, I think it is difficult to achieve the masses under the influence of Confucian culture.
