Wei Zifu (2nd century-90 years ago), whose name is lost, was born in Pingyang (now Linfen, Shanxi Province) in the Han Dynasty in China, the second queen of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and Wei Qing's half-sister.

Wei Zifu's date of birth is unknown. His mother, Wei Tuo, is the maid of Pingyang Empress Cao. She is a geisha of Pingyang Empress Cao and Princess Pingyang. When Emperor Wu visited Princess Pingyang's house, he found that she was beautiful and lucky that night, so he took her and Wei Qing into the palace. It was the spring of the second year of Jianyuan (BC 139).

According to Hanshu, Wei Zifu entered the palace for more than a year, and the Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty didn't love her any more. Emperor Wu arranged for the imperial secretary to leave the palace. Wei Zifu was able to see Emperor Wu again, sobbing. Emperor Wu likes her very much and dotes on her. Wei Zifu was pregnant, gave birth to three daughters, and was loved. When Liu Pu, the mother of Queen Chen, heard that she was favored, she sent someone to catch Wei Qing. Thanks to the rescue of Gongsun Ao and a strong man, Wei Qing survived. Hearing this, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty called Wei Qing as a supervisor and assistant, and within a few days, his reward accumulated to one thousand dollars. Gongsun Ao also benefited from this, and Wei Zifu was made a concubine, and the harem was second only to the queen.

In the autumn of the fifth year of Yuanguang (before 130), Queen Chen was abolished because of witchcraft, and her position was vacant. In the first year of yuanshuo (BC128th), Wei Zifu gave birth to her son Herry Liu and was made queen. In the first year of Yuanshou (BC 122), Herry Liu was made a prince.

Wei Zifu grew old and lost the favor of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, and was favored by Mrs. Wang, Yin Jieyu and Zhao Jieyu successively. Wei Qing and Huo Qubing died one after another, and Wei's position became more and more dangerous. In the third year (the first 90 years), Wei Zifu was ordered by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty to confiscate the queen's seal and destroy the Wei family, and Wei Zifu hanged himself in despair. Buried in Tongbai outside Chang 'an.

After her only surviving great-grandson succeeded to the throne, Wei Zifu was recognized as Queen Si, reburied with the queen's etiquette, and a garden was built, guarded by Zhou Weifeng. After the strong influence of Xuan Di, the specifications of the cemetery were upgraded, and the number of grave keepers was expanded from 300 to 1000. Tongbai is the east of North-South Avenue outside Fuang Gate in Chang 'an. The reburial written in the Han Dynasty only refers to reburial, and does not change the burial place.

Wei Zifu was the empress of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty who reigned for 38 years, and the second longest empress in the history of China (the first was the empress). Wei Zifu is also the first empress in the history of China who has an independent posthumous title-Sihou (posthumous title's "pure virtue means thinking"). Since then, Empresses of past dynasties have begun to have independent posthumous title after her husband posthumous title.

Wei Zifu and Emperor Wu gave birth to three daughters and a son. Except for Liu, three women are unknown. According to Historical Records written by Sima Zhen in the Tang Dynasty, these three daughters were Princess Youwei, Princess Shiyi and Princess Zhu Yi. In the early Tang Dynasty, Yan Shigu said in Notes to the History of Han that Yang Shi Princess and Princess Zhu Yi were the daughters of Wei Zifu. Yang Shi Princess, also known as Princess Deyi, has no evidence to prove that she and Princess Shiyi are the same person. One or both of these statements must be wrong.

Zhu Yijun, Yang Shi Princess, and Liu Zhi all died of witchcraft. The Chief Guard and Princess Shiyi did not record that they died of witchcraft. Because the princess's birth time is unknown, it is impossible to know the ranking of the four.

The great-grandson of Cao Xiang, the husband of Wei princess royal, was restored as Pingyang Hou when the Han Dynasty mourned the Emperor, and this title continued until Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty named Pingyang Cao Shi Pingyang Hou.

According to Liu's grandson, he survived witchcraft (he was less than one year old at that time). After several years in prison, he was exiled to the people. /kloc-when he was 0/8 years old, Huo Guang assisted him to become the emperor, that is, Emperor Xuan Di.

Wei Zifu's mother, Mr Wei, has a son and three daughters. The eldest son Wei Changjun, the eldest daughter Wei Ru (recorded in Han Dynasty as Wei Junru, the wife of Gong Sunhe), the second daughter Xiao Wei (Huo Qubing's mother) and the third daughter Wei Zifu. Later, he had a son Wei Qing with Zheng Jisheng, and later two sons Wei Bu and Wei Guang (or Wei Bu Guang alone).

Wei Tuo's identity is recorded as the concubine of Pingyang Hou in Historical Records and the servant of Pingyang Hou in Hanshu. Concubine can refer to female slaves in the pre-Qin, Qin and Han dynasties, but it does not mean concubine in modern Chinese. His brother Wei Qing described his identity as "the life of a slave". According to historical records, Wei Zifu's surname is Wei, which shows that Wei's surname comes from Wei Zifu's biological father, and Wei is a title for women. Wei Tuo's identity should be Pingyang Hou's servant.

In another "Pingyang Houyi", Pingyang Houyi may refer to Cao Shi. During the reign of Emperor Zhao of Han Dynasty, Cao Can named Pingyang Hou as the first generation of Pingyang Hou. In October of the sixth year of Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty, Cao Cao was the second generation of Hou Pingyang. In the twentieth year of Emperor Wendi (160 BC), Cao Qi was the third generation of Pingyang Hou. In the fourth year of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty (BC 154), Cao was the fourth generation of Pingyang marquis. Her sister Wei has a clear identity since she was a child. She is a waiter at Hou Cao's house in Pingyang.

In the third year of Jianyuan (BC 138), Wei Zifu was pregnant, which was lucky. Later, Queen Chen was jealous. Princess Guantao tried to kill Wei Qing to vent her anger at her daughter. After the story was revealed, Emperor Wu was furious. Wei Zifu was made his wife (second only to the queen, when Dou Taihou was still alive), and the Wei family was therefore prominent.

In the first year of yuanshuo (BC128th), Wei Zifu, who had already given birth to three daughters, gave birth to Herry Liu, the eldest son of the emperor. Later, Liu Xun reburied Wei Zifu with the etiquette that a queen should have, chased posthumous title and said "I want to" and built a garden to buy Wei Zhou. History is called Xiao Wuwei Si Hou.
