The only criterion to judge whether the brake oil meets the replacement standard is the moisture content of the brake oil. Usually, it is recommended that the owner drive to a professional maintenance company, and professional technicians use the brake oil moisture tester to accurately measure the brake oil of the vehicle. As long as the measured water content of brake oil is greater than 5%, it is determined that brake oil is not available and needs to be replaced immediately.

If it is found that the water content of brake oil is greater than 3% through inspection, it means that brake oil has begun to deteriorate obviously. Although the water content does not reach 5%, the owner needs to pay attention to the usual brake use and be prepared to replace it as soon as possible.

Because the water content in brake oil determines the boiling point of brake oil, the higher the water content, the lower the boiling point of brake oil, which is very dangerous in the process of continuous braking.
