Brief introduction of Xingwen Shilin scenic spot

The surface stone sea is located in Wufeidong Scenic Area of Powangshan Park. The upper and lower waterfalls are rare erosive funnel waterfalls at home and abroad, with a drop of 100 meters. At the same time, the Feiwu Cave concentrates on many geological relics such as canyons, Tiansheng Bridge, skylights, gravity collapse and accumulation, underground rivers and so on. There are also canyon landforms of different scales, which are formed by the continuous action of surface water along structural fractures and the joint action of neotectonic movement and uplift. The canyon mainly formed by surface water is V-shaped, and the canyon formed by underground karst and gravity is "antenna". Here, with the development of canyons and waterfalls, they are hidden in the bamboo forest in Wang Mangmang, which is magnificent and refreshing.

Rock cave

The famous caves in Xiaoyan Bay Park are Tianquan Cave and Tiens Cave. Tianquan Cave, also known as Yuanjia Cave, has a huge scale. The total length of the main tunnel and its branches is about 4.2 kilometers, and the total volume is about 2.7 million cubic meters. The cave structure can be simply summarized as a multi-level dendritic cave, which is divided into four layers from bottom to top, and is used for tourism and exploration respectively. Shi Tian Cave, formerly known as Zhucaojing, belongs to Tian Quan Cave Group, and its cave size is second only to Tianquan Cave. The underground cave extends out of the big funnel, and the bottom of the cave is about 250m from the ground. The total length of the whole cave system is 8400m, and the volume is 2 1.6 million m3, which is one of the longest tunnels among the top ten caves in China. The cave is large in scale, with good air and rich chemical deposits. The whole cave has 20 halls and 13 skylights. Sunlight enters from the skylight, which makes the water mist in the cave filled with confusion. It is like dawn, and people are in it, as if they have entered a magical and mysterious world.

Sinkhole

On the east side of shilin town, there is a huge sinkhole (Xiaoyanwan sinkhole), which is called a funnel in geology. This monster is 650 meters long, 490 meters wide, 550 meters in diameter and 208 meters high. It is oval, like a knife chopping an axe, surrounded by cliffs, and the bottom is a landform of collapse and loose accumulation. As a whole, it is like a funnel with complete shape, and its scale ranks among the top in the world karst funnel. In the middle of the cone-shaped cliff of the funnel, there is a tourist circle around the funnel, along which there are scenic spots such as "dripping into a fairy", "echo of wall cutting", "Tiantong Cave", "Tianpen Temple" and "Hongjunyan", which together with the funnel form a beautiful natural picture. This sinkhole was originally composed of one or several large underground caves. Under the long-term effect of karst and gravity, the top collapsed and exposed the surface, and then it was continuously transformed under the comprehensive effect of long-term surface water and surface karst.

Shihai and Shilin

The so-called stone sea is actually made of stone buds. The rock buds in Xiaoyanwan Park are the most typical, covering an area of 2.2km2 The surface of the rock buds is smooth and undulating, and the height is about 1.5m, forming a huge rock sea (Xiaoyanwan rock buds). Having said that, I have to talk about the formation principle of stone buds. When surface water leaks along the ground fissures, the ground fissures can be dissolved and eroded into grooves with different sizes, which are called dissolved ditches. Bud-like stone ridges that remain between criss-crossing gullies are called stone buds. Under special structure and rain conditions, sometimes stone buds as high as tens of meters can be formed. From a distance, stone buds are like rows of swells, ups and downs, like solidified waves, hence the name Shihai. Overlooking Xingwen Shihai Geopark Museum, it is like a huge ship sailing slowly in boundless waves.
