Who are the five permanent members of the world?

The five permanent members of the United Nations are China, Britain, France, the United States and Russia.

Generally speaking, the permanent members of the UN Security Council (or the p5) are the five victors in World War II. They have retained their strongest military strength since World War II and have veto power in the United Nations.
