In order to further aid Tibet, under the arrangement and organization of Liu Yi, the secretary of the fifth batch of Guangdong Tibet Aid Task Force, we went to Chayu County, Chayu Farm and bomi county, which belong to Linzhi area, for medical treatment and medicine delivery from July 13 to July 26.

The free clinic was strongly funded by Foshan Municipal Health Bureau, and the team members brought their own medical materials worth more than 50,000 yuan. Under the leadership of team leader Chen, five team members from Foshan, including Chen, deputy chief physician of internal medicine and orthopedics, Li Dan, deputy chief physician of pediatrics, Xiao Zefeng, chief physician of ophthalmology, and Zhao Jianhua, deputy chief physician of rehabilitation, went to the frontier village by village. Chayu County is an important town in the southeast of Tibet, and it is known as "Little Jiangnan in Snow Area". It borders Myanmar and India in the south, 540 kilometers away from Bayi Town, where the area is located. 1962 The famous self-defense counterattack between China and India-the Battle of Vanon took place here. After passing through Tongmai Natural Barrier on Sichuan-Tibet Highway and entering Lancha Highway, all roads are winding and narrow dirt roads, mostly along the mountains. There is a fast-flowing river on the roadside, which is full of danger. We climbed the Demla Snow Mountain at an altitude of more than 5000 meters, crossed the no-man's land and arrived at the county seat on 14. Peng Conggen, secretary of the Chayu County Party Committee and Zheng Niangtian, deputy secretary of the Tibet aid cadre sent by Foshan City, waited for us for a long time and presented us with white Hada, which made us feel very tired. The next day, our team members immediately participated in the free clinic, and Secretary Peng Congen personally guided the work, and successively went to Myanmar Village (1 moved from Myanmar in 1985), Bocun Village (unknown ethnic group other than 56 ethnic groups), and the frontier garrison Mashalian1and 77643 troops. Among them, when I was in Myanmar village, Secretary Peng personally took us to the home of a poor, widowed Myanmar old man with a disability in his right lower limb to deliver medicine. Secretary Peng himself sent the patriotic old Burmese a solatium of 1000 yuan, and the old man shed tears of gratitude. The scene is very touching. During the free clinic, we also received strong support from Director Li Yujiang of the Health Bureau, leaders of Chayu County Hospital, officers and men of border guards, leaders of Myanmar people, Arusong and other Bo leaders. On July 22, the medical team braved the heat and went to the tea farm more than 70 kilometers away from the county seat. The journey is more bumpy. Two hours later, they finally came to the farm in this almost isolated mountain, and were warmly welcomed by the farm secretary and Peng, the cadres sent by Foshan to help Tibet. During our two days on the farm, we sent more than 300 people to the farm for free. I visited the achievements of the farm project that Secretary Huang Weiping introduced funds from Guangdong 1 for many years. Great changes have taken place in Chayu Farm since Secretary Huang entered Tibet, and the free clinic ended with the praise of farm workers.

On July 24th, the medical team turned back from Chayu and rushed to bomi county. bomi county was called Bowo in ancient times, which means ancestor in Tibetan. It is located in the southeast of Tibet, and the Sichuan-Tibet Highway 3 18 National Road runs through the east and west, 234 kilometers away from Bayi Town, Linzhi. It was warmly welcomed by Zuo, a cadre of bomi county aiding Tibet, Zhang Like and Li Buming, deputy heads of Zhuo Ma, director of Health Bureau Tashi and leaders of bomi county Hospital. After Hada's rest, the team members consulted the local cadres and masses for more than 600 times for free in Bomao Square, the county seat. After that, I went to bomi county Central Hospital for the exchange and guidance of related specialized business. On the 26th, the free clinic was successfully concluded. The internal medicine of this free clinic is mainly hypertension, heart disease, stomach disease and upper respiratory tract infection; pediatrics is mainly upper respiratory tract infection, pneumonia, diarrhea, eczema and anemia; orthopedics and rehabilitation are mainly trauma, fracture, low back pain, cervical spondylosis and knee arthritis. Ophthalmology is mainly trachoma and cataract. During the free clinic, we provided free medical consultation for local cadres and masses, farmers and herdsmen and the garrison, took blood pressure, distributed free medicines, conducted health education for them and distributed relevant materials, and collectively distributed small gifts such as exercise books and pens to local children. Attending physician Chen Wei, as the team leader, took the initiative to contact local Guangdong aid cadres and health authorities to contact the team members with accommodation and arrange free clinic venues. During the free clinic, he examined the patient in detail and patiently explained it until the patient left with satisfaction. Hu Hui, deputy chief physician of internal medicine, is always the busiest and most patient in his clinic. Serious and responsible for patients, good service attitude. No matter how late it is, he always leaves after seeing the last patient. Zhao Jianhua, deputy chief physician of rehabilitation department, mainly engaged in manual therapy. Due to environmental factors, there are many local patients with neck, waist and leg pain. He always completes the task seriously, and after the free clinic, he is too tired to lie still in bed, but he never regrets it. Because there is no ophthalmology department in local county and township medical institutions, general ophthalmologists have to transfer to higher-level hospitals for treatment. The arrival of Xiao Zefeng, the attending ophthalmologist, virtually brought good news to the local people. He carefully checked the medication for every eye patient and explained the knowledge of eye disease prevention and treatment. The number of children's health consultation and consultation is also very large. Li Dan, deputy chief physician of pediatrics, is very busy. He is serious and responsible for every child, asking about the condition in detail, explaining the principles of parents' medication and the matters that children should pay attention to.
