Difference between CFG pile and plain concrete pile

CFG pile method is a kind of foundation treatment, which is called cement fly ash gravel pile. The construction method is generally to drill a hole with a long auger, and after reaching the design depth, pour the mixture of cement, fly ash and crushed stone. In actual construction, plain concrete is sometimes used instead of cement fly ash macadam mixture. The main reason is that the pile materials are different, the actual foundation reinforcement effect and mechanism are the same, and there is no difference between stress and deformation. This point has been explained in Article 9. 1. 1 of Technical Code for Building Foundation Treatment (JGJ 97-2002).
