As a person who grew up in Tibet, I will tell you something I know.

Politics: In ethnic autonomous areas, the top leaders of every party committee and organ are Tibetan aid cadres, and the second leaders are Tibetans.

Economy: Tourism is the main industry, and the circulation of materials is stronger after the opening of the railway. The price is high.

Culture: Traditional culture is a unique culture formed around Tibetan Buddhism, and all people believe in religion. Popular culture is greatly influenced by Sichuan and Beijing. Tibetan and Chinese characters are universal, and almost all written expressions are bilingual.

Diet: Tibetans have many diets that conform to the plateau, such as butter tea, Tibetan noodles and steamed stuffed buns (big meat jiaozi, which means meat in Tibetan). However, the mainstream diet is mainly Sichuan cuisine, supplemented by other cuisines. The eating habits of modern Tibetans are greatly influenced by Sichuanese (there are many Sichuanese in Tibet, and those who have stayed in Tibet for a long time can speak a few Sichuanese).

Living habits: Tibet is no different from mainlanders except for some pastoral areas, but ethnic customs are still valued. (This means not eating dog meat or donkey meat, and not spitting behind people's backs. Others are related to faith. )
