No one knows the traces of spring. If you want to know, just ask the oriole. The oriole cries everywhere. Who can understand its meaning? Look, orioles fly over the blooming roses in the wind.

Creation background

In the second year of Chongning (1 103), the party disaster started, Cai became party member, Huang Tingjian was removed, and Yizhou was in charge. There is a poem entitled "Send a message to Hubei in the middle of the night on December 19th, kiss the old people and bring wine to drive them away, which is a short sentence". This "December" is the second year of Chongning (1 103). Huang Tingjian passed Dongting in February until Chongning's childhood and arrived in Yizhou, Guangxi in May and June.

The content of this word is "cherish spring", which is actually an allusion to the current situation. This song "Send to Spring" was written in the year after Yizhou's relegation, that is, four years of Chongning (1 105). In September of the same year, Huang Tingjian died suddenly in Yizhou Health Center.
