Let’s talk about whether futures are better for the long term or the short term.

I think short-term trading is relatively more difficult than long-term trading.

1. From a market perspective, the trend of short-term trading is not as stable as the trend of long-term trading.

2. For technical trading, technical analysis shows that the larger the period, the more effective it is, and the smaller the period, the more ineffective it is.

3. From a human perspective, there are two sources of risk. One is misreading the market, and the other is arousing emotions. In the long term, because the time interval between placing orders is long, you have enough rest and think more fully, which is more conducive to clear thinking and emotional control, thereby reducing the risk of trading. In short-term trading, transactions will be relatively frequent, and frequent transactions will consume extremely mental energy. When traders are tired, people's emotions are not easily controlled, and it is easy to place impulsive orders.

In my opinion, long-term is positive, short-term is odd. Doing short-term is like starting a business with nothing, requiring higher skills and trading quality, while doing long-term is easier to succeed because of objective stability and mental calmness.
