It is used for raw material processing such as derusting, cold drawing and cold drawing of steel bars, batch processing such as straightening and shearing, and forming processing such as bending, spot welding and butt welding.

Rust remover is used to remove the rust of steel bars to ensure the welding quality of steel bars and the good bond between steel bars and concrete. There are two ways to remove rust: brush rust with electric wire wheel and make steel bar pass through sand box, and remove rust by friction between sand and steel bar. Rust removal of steel bars is often carried out in the process of cold drawing, cold drawing and straightening cutting.

The cold-drawing machine stretches the steel bar in a certain range by using the stress exceeding the yield point, so that the yield point of the steel bar is increased by 20 ~ 25%. Cold drawing machine is divided into winding cold drawing machine and resistance cold drawing machine. The winch of the winch cold drawing machine stretches the steel bar through the pulley block. The speed of cold drawing is about 5 m/min, which can draw thick and thin steel bars, but it covers a large area. The resistance cold drawing machine is used to draw wires with a diameter less than 8 mm, and the steel bar is strongly pulled by the drum and stretched by 4 ~ 6 resistance wheels. This machine can be used together with the steel bar straightening and cutting machine to directly process fixed-length cold-drawn steel bars. The speed of cold drawing is about 40m/min, with high efficiency and compact layout.

The cold-drawing machine forces the 1 grade steel bar with a diameter of 6 ~ 10 mm to pass through a cemented carbide or tungsten carbide drawing die with a diameter less than 0.5 ~ 1 mm for cold drawing. During cold drawing, the steel bar is both stretched and squeezed, resulting in plastic deformation, the cross-sectional area of the pulled steel bar is reduced, resulting in cold working strengthening, and the tensile strength can be increased by 40 ~ 90%.

Straightening and cutting machine is used to straighten and cut the steel bar with the diameter below 14 mm, and remove rust. It consists of a straightening oil cylinder, a traction mechanism, a cutting mechanism, a steel bar fixed-length frame, a frame and a driving device. Its working principle is shown in figure 1. The motor drives the straightening roller to rotate at a high speed through belt drive, straightens the steel bar passing through the straightening roller, and removes the rust on the surface of the steel bar through the straightening die. The motor is driven by another pair of deceleration belts and a gear reducer. On the one hand, it drives two conveying rollers to pull the steel bar forward, on the other hand, it drives the crank wheel to make the hammer head move up and down. When the steel bar is adjusted to a predetermined length, the hammer hammer hits the tool rest to cut the steel bar. When the cut steel bar falls into the receiving frame, the tool table returns to its original position due to the action of the spring, completing a cycle.

There are many kinds of steel bar cutting machines, including manual, electric and hydraulic. The maximum cutting diameter is 40mm. The cutting machine cuts steel bars through the reciprocating motion of the movable blade relative to the fixed blade.

Reinforcing bar upsetter upset the end of reinforcing bar, which is used as the anchor head of prestressed reinforcement or cold-drawn reinforcement. There are two types of upsetter: mechanical and hydraulic. The working principle of hydraulic upsetter is: when the hydraulic cylinder pushes the clamp to clamp the steel bar, its upsetting die moves forward to upset the steel bar head, and then the spring pushes back the die to loosen the clamp, thus completing one upsetting.

The working mechanism of the steel bar bending machine is a horizontal working disk that rotates around the vertical axis. As shown in Figure 2, the steel bar is placed in the dotted line position in the figure, the support pin shaft is fixed on the machine tool, and the central pin shaft and the bending pin shaft are installed on the working disk, so that the steel bar will bend when the disk rotates. In order to bend steel bars with various diameters, there are several holes in the working disk for inserting and pressing bending pins, and the center pins with different diameters can also be replaced accordingly.

In addition to ordinary arc welding machines and spot welding machines, butt welding machines and multi-head spot welding machines are also often used to butt weld steel bars and make steel mesh sheets, which are characterized by high efficiency and low power consumption. The working principle of contact butt welding is to clamp the steel bar into two electrodes respectively, and then turn on the power supply to make the two ends of the steel bar contact. Strong short-circuit current is blocked at the contact, resulting in high temperature, melting metal, and applying extrusion force to weld it into a whole. Because the metal splashes around when it melts, it forms a flash, so it is called flash welding. Multi-head spot welding machine can generally complete many processing procedures such as steel bar straightening, mesh traction and cutting, and can automatically produce special-shaped mesh.
