In real life, do you want to hear cruel facts or white lies?

I'd rather hear cruel facts than white lies. For the truth, although it may sometimes hit people's psychology and make them deeply hit, it will also make people cherish everything they have, constantly pursue to change themselves, explore the unknown process and realize their dreams.

White lies, if told well, can make people forget the pain temporarily and get happiness, but this happiness is only short-lived. If a lie is exposed, it will have a devastating impact on people's mental health, making people feel powerless, even equivalent to self-destruction of their hopes and beliefs.

Therefore, when I am faced with a difficult choice, I would rather bear all that the truth has brought me than feel sorry for myself when this lie is exposed. Sometimes, the cruel reality may bring us setbacks, but it also allows us to reflect on ourselves, find our own corner, and strive to pursue our dreams. Lies will confuse us temporarily, but they may also make us miss many precious opportunities.
