What are the four famous pavilions in Yuelu Mountain, Changsha?

Located in the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province, in the Qingfeng Canyon of Yuelu Mountain, it was built in the 57th year of Qingganlong, formerly known as Hongye Pavilion, and was built by Luo Dian, the head of Yuelu Academy in Qing Dynasty. Later, it was renamed Love Night Pavilion by Bi Yuan, Governor of Huguang, according to Du Mu's poem. ?

Aiwan Pavilion covers an area of 50 square meters, with a side length of 6.23 meters, a pedestal height of 0.4 meters and a height of 12 meters. The inner column is painted with mahogany, and four outer eaves columns are made of a whole square granite. The pavilion has four eaves, a pointed treasure roof, four wings stretched out and covered with green glazed tiles.

There is a horizontal plaque in the pavilion with the words "Qinyuanchun Changsha" inscribed by Mao Zedong, and the plaque "Love Evening Pavilion" in front of the pavilion is inscribed by Mao Zedong. There are seven poems written by Zhang Nanxuan and Qian Nanyuan on the stone in the pavilion. Love evening pavilion is simple and elegant. It sits west to east and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. On the whole, more pavilions and pavilions of the Qing Dynasty have been preserved.

Historical evolution:

In the fifty-seventh year of Qing Qianlong, Aiwan Pavilion was built, formerly known as Hongye Pavilion. During the reign of Tongzhi, Guangxu and Xuantong in Qing Dynasty, Aiwan Pavilion was successively restored.

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Aiyue Pavilion was destroyed.

1949 after liberation, the party and the government restored the love night pavilion five times. 1952, rebuild the Love Night Pavilion. Li Da, then president of Hunan University, built the pavilion into a pagoda with eight columns and double eaves, glazed tiles and painted columns. The stone bench in the pavilion was moved to another place. Li Da specially asked Mao Zedong to write the words "Love Evening Pavilion" and made a gold-plated plaque on a red background.

1956, the Love Evening Pavilion was rebuilt, and the Yuelu Park Management Office hung a horizontal plaque in gold on a black background, engraved with the poem "Qinyuanchun Changsha" written by Mao Zedong.

1987, overhaul of Aiwan Pavilion.

At the beginning of 20 17, the Lushan Scenic Area Management Office of Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area in Changsha decided to harness the Qianping Reservoir of Aiwan Pavilion. On April 20th, the management of Aiwanting Reservoir was completely completed, the three reservoirs became crystal clear and the surrounding areas were afforested.
