What's the experience of having a stepmother?

My mother died when I was very young. A few years later, my brother and I had a stepmother. Her husband died, too, and she had two children, older than all of us. Because I am the only daughter of four children, I was successfully spoiled as a little princess by my stepmother and three brothers. Actually, I feel really lucky to meet them. Now, both her sons dropped out of school early, and my brother and I are both in college. They have never complained, and they are always considerate and caring for us. Outsiders don't know that they are not related to us.
