What if the apple id is locked?

If the Apple ID prompt is disabled, select Reset.

Enter your Apple ID, and then click Next.

You can choose to reset or answer security questions by email. Here I choose to answer the security question to reset, as shown below.

If you choose email reset, an email will be sent to your safe mailbox, and then you can enter the mailbox to open the link and reset according to the prompt.

First verify your date of birth, enter the date of birth, and then the next step.

If you don't fill in the Apple ID correctly when registering, you can only reset it by email.

Enter a security question, and then click Next.

If you can't remember the security problem, you can only reset it by mail.

After the verification is successful, you can reset the password or unlock the Apple ID.

If you are worried that the password will be known by others, it is better to reset the password. If you disable it by mistake, just unlock it directly.

After choosing to unlock the Apple ID, you have to log in to the Apple ID once to unlock it.

A successful login will prompt you that your Apple ID has been unlocked.
