What are the similarities and differences between knowledge growth and moral improvement?

As far as my half-life wasted experience is concerned, the word Laozi is really supreme wisdom.

This sentence has two meanings:

The first layer: learning is increasing, and the increase of knowledge requires daily study. Because Tao is a daily loss, to gain the ultimate wisdom of life, you need to observe your heart and implement it every day. In short: the more you learn, the more you learn, and the more you lose.

Layer 2: As your knowledge increases, your ways tend to decrease. In short: the more you learn, the less you learn.

The more you learn, the more you mean that your knowledge is constantly enriched, but the result is often "harming the Tao."

Many people are defending "learning while learning", and all kinds of harmony are completely blaspheming Laozi's clear words.

Many people understand increasing learning as accumulating knowledge. Interpret the loss of Tao as refining the law. Therefore, the two are not contradictory. Such an explanation is self-defeating, misleading and deceptive.

What is the loss of Tao? What is lost is persistence, and what is lost is knowledge. Of course, if you want to be very precise, in Buddhist terms, it is called a known obstacle. The Shurangama Sutra says: If you know what you see, you know what you know, that is, there is no version.

Of course, to be precise, knowledge is not a barrier to knowledge, that is, knowledge itself is not a barrier.

However, from the perspective of ordinary people, it can almost be said that what is known is the obstacle. Because, ordinary people contact a thing, know a person and learn a knowledge. At the moment of forming a certain understanding, this understanding was also preserved by some force. In other words, no matter what you learn, you will form a potential cognitive power in the present.

This situation is called the first impression effect in the secular world, and it is called individual law enforcement in Buddhism, and there is a deeper level of universal law enforcement, which is not discussed here.

What are the disadvantages of this first impression effect? It can be said that the disadvantages are as great as the horizon!

Where does our habitual thinking come from? It is from this first impression effect. Inertial thinking, also known as thinking trap, is the fundamental obstacle to human innovation.

At all times and all over the world, many famous authoritative scientists are bound to stand on the side of the customary tradition to suppress the so-called novel theories, such as Heliocentrism of Copernicus, the second law of thermodynamics of Boltzmann, and the non-Euclidean geometry of Lobachevsky, all of which have been criticized by their predecessors. Therefore, habitual thinking kills people, and it is inevitable that there will be fans of the authorities, not to mention ordinary people.

This era is an era of more learning, more knowledge and more disadvantages.

First of all, generalists are few and gone. Many people entered the house and left the slaves. This pass is not a pass to learn more, but a pass to get through, a pass to achieve mastery.

Second, the more you learn, the more persistent you are and the slower you will be. I learned a lot, mostly two-legged bookcases, and I didn't digest them at all. How can I absorb them? Just like the composition of the 2020 college entrance examination in a province, it became a joke, and it was full of words that people couldn't understand to show unfathomable.

Third, it is a hopeless road to pursue endless learning with a limited life.

Let's talk about it.

For the loss of Tao, this is a road to return to simplicity.

What is Tao? Metaphysics is the method.

Where is Dao? Tao is at every point in time and space.

To be the Tao is to seek the Tao. The loss every day is to practice every day and reduce your persistence.

How can we make a daily loss? Take two pictures as an example.

Look at the picture 1 first. Take this picture to illustrate that learning is becoming more and more harmful.

Ladies and gentlemen, the center above is something. Can you see what is in the middle of the picture above?

This picture reveals a big secret about human understanding. After your knowledge, ideas and perceptions are formed, you will find it difficult to dissolve them.

Just like the things in this picture, when you can't find the things in the picture, you have been searching hard. Where are the things in the picture? Why didn't I find it?

Once found, it is found, and knowledge is formed. At this time, every time you look at this picture, you will find something so clear that it suddenly appears in the picture. Why didn't you see it at the time?

The strangest thing is that you want to go back to the state you didn't find, but you can't go back when you don't know.

Take this example to explain why while learning increases, doing things for Tao is often a loss. (This is the second meaning mentioned at the beginning) You should be able to understand. On the other hand, we can understand the difficulty of "harming others for the sake of Tao".

In this picture, the loss of Tao means returning to the state when there is no knowledge. You find that you have lost this freedom. You are bound and bound by this knowledge. You can't switch to watch at will. To regain this freedom, you need to do kung fu, which is called practice in Buddhism and Taoism.

It should be emphasized that the loss of Tao does not mean ignorance, but maintaining a high degree of spirituality and having the freedom to switch at will. Buddhism calls it eliminating persistence.

For the loss of Tao, the loss is also lost, so that nothing is done. These attached layers, such as attached things, are flesh and blood, which is very difficult to remove.

For example, in the picture above, there are many layers of cognition, one is more subtle than the other, and the other is closer to the truth of life.

First floor: Cigar in the center of the picture. Clear this cognition and go back to the second level.

Second floor: bricks in the picture. Clear this cognition and go back to the third level.

The third layer: the color of the picture. Clarify this cognition and return to the fourth level.

……

Layer n: clear what you know and return to your knowing mind.

……

Layer ∞: Return to Tao, return to inaction.

Figure 2, this picture is to show that many people's cognition is simply wrong.

For example, in Figure 2, are the colors of squares A and B the same or different? Answer: It's the same!

This is the magic. People's cognition is easily influenced by the environment, just like the picture above. The above picture is influenced by the shadow of the cylinder, which leads to the illusion that there is a difference between grid A and grid B, and also shows that it is difficult to clear the illusion.

Therefore, in the process of loss and loss, efforts and appropriate methods are needed to reduce the impact on the environment, even without the impact of the environment.

If you lose a knowledge for the sake of Tao, you will liberate a point of bondage, restore a point of spirituality and gain a point of freedom. Finally return to the truth of life.

What is the truth of life? Master Huineng, the sixth ancestor, said when he realized the Tao: "When it is self-nature, it is self-purity; What self-nature period, this is not birth and death; When is self-nature, it is self-sufficiency; The self-nature of what period has never wavered; When you are self-sufficient, you can have all kinds of laws. "

I don't know! It turns out that life is pure, immortal, complete, immobile and unshakable, and it can give birth to all the methods in the world!
