Marriage should be a very solemn and sacred thing. As for wedding gifts, I think this is just a custom passed down from ancient times. I have always felt that wedding gifts are not that important. Marriage is originally a testimony of love, so why must material conditions be added to it.

In my opinion, I feel that the wedding ceremony does not require too much material to fill it. They are connected by emotions. The bride price is very important in our wedding, but we should not take it too seriously. Although marriage is a matter between two families, love is king.

I think when I get married in the future, what I want is for the two families to have a meal together and then have a simple ceremony.

This is what I like about weddings. There are not too many people or too many things, just a simple family. Nowadays, many people who get married are very grandiose and have no money, but they have spent a lot of money just for this wedding. They will spend all their savings on this wedding. It's just to save face and collect the bride price.

The most ostentatious wedding I have ever seen was my teacher’s wedding. At that time, we were only in our second year of high school and did not attend his wedding, but we learned the news from other teachers. His focus is not on the relationship, but on the fact that the two of them actually held three weddings.

He did it once in Chengdu. Why did he do it? It was because they bought a house in Chengdu. Then we held one in Chengdu, and all our relatives and friends in Chengdu participated. Then he returned to the school and held another wedding near the school. This time it was a big event. There were so many teachers in the school, and they basically all attended. It was a very prosperous part of our city. I think this is necessary, because after all, you can hold one at home and separate relatives and colleagues. In this case, it would be more meaningful for everyone to participate in this wedding.

But, he held another one at the woman’s house, so the problem came. Many people had already attended the wedding, but they still received invitations again. . I really feel that this is the case in today's society. Are their weddings just for the purpose of earning more money as gifts?

I have also seen two people get married just for this gift. They got married not long ago and got divorced after the wedding. Then after that, they reconciled again and had another wedding. We got married twice in three years, and I was really drunk. That's not the point. Later, the two of them admitted that it was just to earn more dowry.

We should think carefully about the meaning of marriage and not add some miscellaneous thoughts to marriage.
