There are different types of elevators: passenger elevators, freight elevators, passenger and freight elevators, sickbed elevators and sundries elevators. Household elevator belongs to a kind of passenger elevator, and different elevators have different driving modes:

1, hydraulic drive type

Driven by the motor, high-pressure oil is loaded into the oil cylinder to drive the movable plug to drive the axle box. Slow speed, usually used for buildings below 20 meters.

2. Motor reduction gear drive mode

AC and DC motors drive cars by pulling cables through reducers and tractors, which are mostly used for middle and low speed ladders.

3. Motor direct drive type

Also known as gearless type, the tractor is directly driven by a large multipole motor, which is used for high-speed ladder climbing, and the electric control system is more complicated.

4, linear motor drive type

Driven by induction or synchronous linear motor, the motor is placed on the elevator wall, the moving part (equivalent to the rotating part) is placed on the axle box shell, and the axle box is directly driven without using steel wire rope. It is not limited by the height of the building, but it consumes a lot of electricity. At present, it is still in the development and trial stage.

5. No machine room driver type

The traction motor is directly installed at the top or bottom of the bridge car, pulling the surrounding steel wire rope to drive the bridge car. Used for small bridge cars and personal elevators, it can save the traditional computer room.

When choosing the control mode of home elevator, you can choose according to your own elevator installation and personal preference. Different driving control modes have different characteristics, but the principle is basically the same.
