A cup of coffee can warm people's hearts.

The weather is cold and gloomy. I don't like cloudy days, so my mood is as gloomy as this weather.

I don't want to take any heating measures. I looked up and saw the bag of coffee. That's a bag of Nestle coffee, which was given by my deskmate in primary school. I have been throwing it on the table. I didn't expect to drink it. As it happens, I am tired of drinking boiled water. Try this bag of coffee. Touch a cup, pour coffee, rinse with hot water, and stir with a straw. How bitter! My first reaction was when coffee entered my mouth. Then because of this bitterness, I remembered my deskmate who sent me coffee, and I still felt a little guilty.

The deskmate is a cheerful and lively girl and we have a good relationship. We volunteered to sit at the same table, not arranged by the teacher. That day in class, she gave me a note with very kind words on it, but I immediately frowned after reading it. I don't know why I am so disgusted with this note! I stopped talking to her from then on, and I didn't know how to cherish and understand the value of that friendship and kindness until I was no longer at the same table with her.

She transferred to another school and gave me this cup of coffee before she left.

Now that I think about it, I was really young, really stupid and really ignorant!

I lost contact with her, but I always have this deskmate and friend in my heart. I can only be silent in the distance and save an ocean of thoughts for her.

I swallowed this cup of bitter coffee, but I tasted the sweetness hidden behind the bitterness, and my heart was warm.
