1. In the full and hectic Spring Festival, I often think that everyone has experienced visiting relatives during the New Year. People of different ages may have different understandings and feelings. Children want to have fun, while adults value family, friendship and communication. In my childhood memory, the scene of the new son-in-law in the village being teased by a bunch of relatives on New Year's Eve and becoming the protagonist of a "practical joke" is always vivid and makes people laugh. Happy New Year's Eve, happy to "make trouble with my son-in-law", rural customs, let me really feel from an early age, vaguely understand what is mellow and simple rural friendship.

When I was a child, because my family was poor, my brothers and sisters liked Chinese New Year best. Every new year, we children can put on new clothes and hats and show them off our new clothes. You can eat things that you can't usually eat. Although adults are anxious to spend money on the New Year, their faces are beaming, showing the unique joy of the New Year and being particularly friendly to children. For us, the happiest thing in Chinese New Year is to visit relatives and friends. Because my mother was an only child and my grandmother died early, we only went to my grandfather's house and aunt's house. In their place, we not only have delicious food, but also lucky money.

The New Year is a time for reunion, and only during the Spring Festival is the best time for people to relax and visit relatives and friends. Visiting relatives in the New Year, the most lively day may be the second day of the New Year's Day, because this day is the day when the new daughter-in-law returns to her mother's house with her new son-in-law. In my childhood memory, this day is particularly unforgettable. My hometown, a small village, is adjacent to an asphalt road to the east of the village entrance. During the Chinese New Year, villagers' friends play and chase in groups in the open space at the entrance of the village: setting off firecrackers, setting off fireworks, playing four corners and playing cards to "compete for the upper reaches" ... This has become a paradise for children in the village to celebrate the New Year.

Now, I am an adult. Every Spring Festival, I miss my late grandfather, and I can never find my childhood feeling again. So the feeling of Chinese New Year is getting weaker and weaker. Especially after my father died, my mother went to town to live with my brother. As I live in the countryside, I seldom visit my relatives in the city for fear of carsickness. During the Chinese New Year, I just call my relatives and let the radio waves bring them New Year greetings and blessings.
