Reflections on the Legend of Camel Bell

In the midsummer evening, I went to see a large-scale live performance, The Legend of Camel Bell.

Baidu learned that it mainly tells the story of industrious and intelligent Tang people opening up the Silk Road. Looking at the story of ancient Chang 'an in Chang 'an today, it is estimated that most people, like me, have an inexplicable sense of root, identity and belonging.

The silver circular auditorium is magnificent, and it is said that it can accommodate 3000 people to watch movies at the same time. Entering the museum on time, hundreds of wooden steps and square wooden columns will instantly take people away from the modern life of cement glass. All kinds of display items, balustrade carvings and wall murals have distinct Silk Road elements, which have a strong sense of substitution.

With the smooth flow of people entering the venue, the seats were found smoothly. After a soprano prologue that was out of proportion to the atmosphere, the hostess began to promote "calligraphy" for ten minutes. There are many foreign tourists in the venue, so the blind consumption thought of traveling abroad naturally relaxes the vigilance, which makes the scene of "grabbing paintings" in the venue warm, which is omitted here.

In the beautiful music, the performance finally began. In the departure of Xiu and Ange, the story unfolds.

Personally, I think the biggest point is three:

One is a live performance.

Feel the majestic real scene in indoor venues, which has a great visual impact. The wolves rushed out of the corridor, and the camel bells went from far to near, all of which caused the viewers to exclaim. When the protagonist encounters thunderstorm weather on the way, the flood pours down from the mountain, the whole audience boils, and the front audience holds an umbrella to shelter from the rain ... all these are very easy to stimulate the mood of the viewer, so as to relax quickly and achieve the purpose of traveling.

The second is the topic of materials.

The Silk Road is one of China's great creations, especially because the new Silk Road project has become an international hotspot in recent years. There are both ancient mysteries and a strong sense of the times. Whether it is the nature of human seeking roots or the desire to explore the unknown, it teases the excitement of tourists and naturally becomes an important weight in selecting materials.

The third is the theory of origin.

The Silk Road starts from Chang 'an in the east and ends in Rome in the west. The Han and Tang dynasties were very prosperous. Chang 'an is the starting point of the Silk Road, and Chang 'an in the Tang Dynasty is an international metropolis. The owner of this story, Brother Gong 'an, said "Qin Qiang", bid farewell to his wife's program and led the camel team all the way west. I experienced volcanoes, snow and wolves, met Xuanzang and Dunhuang, and finally suffered in Chang 'an.

The Silk Road originated here, where the ancestors pursued a better life and the nation prospered. ...

The one-hour performance will soon be over, and I am intoxicated to sum up: no matter how huge the history is, we must find a small starting point to tell it. The story of the Silk Road, which spans thousands of years and tens of thousands of miles of time and space, will be told by He Xiuange. Aesthetic feeling must be expressed through appropriate contrast, such as the contrast between softness and rigidity, the contrast between old and young, the contrast between space and color, and so on.

The scenes set by modern science and technology played a key role in this performance, but the fly in the ointment is that the characterization and artistic expression of lyrics, dances and so on are relatively rough, and there are few regrets.
