About the University Student Union

The Student Union is a large organization in the university that is run by student organizations. The Student Union is divided into many departments, each with different responsibilities. Generally, universities have a student union and a college student union. The student union is large in scale, has many things to do, and has a large number of people. There are people from every college. The seniors are also stricter, but they get more bonus points. The student union of the college is small in size. It is usually made up of seniors who are in the same major as themselves and will take care of their younger students. The school student union assigns tasks to the college student union.

Every year after freshmen come to school, the minister of the student union, the bureau, etc. will go to the class to promote the class, and then a date will be set to organize interviews. There may be hundreds of people interviewed, but in the end there will be dozens of people. It was really an early experience of what it’s like to go into a company for an interview. There are some seniors who had one face when they were promoting in class, and another face when they were waiting for interviews as interviewers (personal experience).

When you were a freshman, you basically ran errands for the minister. The minister would arrange some tasks for you, including making documents, writing press releases, planning activities, and writing work summaries after the activities. Not only ministers should write, but ministers should also write. And if your press release, plan, etc. are submitted for the first time, they will definitely be rejected. Then if you change and submit them again, they will be rejected again. You change them again and again, and finally the minister decides to adopt another plan. (Blood Lessons).

I will run for minister in the second semester of my freshman year. If I want to stay and become a minister, there are two ways. One is to work seriously, actively complete the tasks left by the minister, and be the first to do everything. The other way is simpler, have a good relationship with the minister and go through the back door. (Simple and crude but not recommended). If you stay as a minister, you can treat the next freshmen the same way your minister treats you. I have to say that this is also a kind of inheritance.

You can run for chairman when you are a junior, provided you are good enough and have a good relationship with your teachers. There are quite a lot of benefits to being a student union president, and you can get to know your teachers well. After all, being able to get to know your teachers well in college is so precious.

It’s useless to say more. Why don’t you join and give it a try? If you really don’t like it, you can leave again.
