It is my lack of morality, intelligence and thinking. I can't be honest with the people and give them a good education, which leads to such a thing being punished. Therefore, although criminals are ordinary people, they are actually caused by my immorality. Therefore, it is not criminals that make me sad, but my virtue is not as good as Yao Shun! " Yu immediately ordered his entourage to take out a turtle shell and wrote on it: "The people are guilty. The responsibility lies only with me. " This is the famous story of "Dayu crying in prison" in history.
