There are not many records in Singapore's early historical materials, and the names used are different. In the 3rd century, China called Singapore "Prolong", that is, "the island at the end of the peninsula". According to historical records, in A.D. 1320, the Yuan Dynasty sent people to a place called Longyamen to look for elephants.
