Brief introduction of German Pavilion of China 20 10 Shanghai World Expo

Germany Pavilion is located on the south bank of Huangpu River, near Lupu Bridge, adjacent to Swiss Pavilion, French Pavilion and Polish Pavilion, covering an area of 6,000 square meters. The exhibition hall is open on all sides, and the architectural design gives people a light and elegant feeling, and also invites people to travel together.

With the theme of harmonious city, the German Pavilion aims to convey that the city is a kind of harmonious beauty, and it needs to strive for balance and harmony between city and nature, innovation and tradition, globalization and national characteristics. From the outside of the exhibition hall, the customs of Germany are vividly displayed. There are scattered scenic spots for people to visit, and there are also introductions about German states and different regions. It is reported that the German Pavilion will be divided into several exhibition areas, such as the new look of the harbor, the future planning room, the humanities garden, the invention archives, the innovation factory, the material garden, the happy theater and so on. Show German urban life with some typical urban living spaces and facilities.

The open architecture of the German Pavilion is light and elegant, which seems to send a sincere invitation to visitors. Two special virtual commentators "Yan Si" and "Yan Yan" will accompany each visitor to visit the exhibition hall. After passing through a "dynamic tunnel" full of pictures of typical German cities, visitors will step into a "harmonious city" and design and arrange wonderful experience spaces. The "humanistic garden" built with lights, colors and sounds shows the "invention archives" and "innovation factories" of German design products and the "material garden" of various new materials invented by Germany.
