Idioms of lying shepherds

I read the story "The Lying Shepherd" in Aesop's Fables today.

The story goes something like this: Once upon a time, there was a shepherd boy who went out to herd sheep every day. One day, he was so bored that he wanted to have a good time. So he shouted: "The wolf is coming, the wolf is coming!"

Hurry up, the wolf will eat the sheep ... "When the farmers heard the tragic cry, they quickly put down their work and picked up hoes and poles to fight the wolf. Who knows, when I went to see it, there were no wolves at all. This is a joke played by the children. The farmers are very angry.

I'm leaving. The child was so happy that he couldn't help it. Later, he played tricks on farmers in the same way. The farmers criticized him, but he didn't repent, and his stomach ached with laughter. Then, one day,

The wolf really came and ate all the sheep. No matter how he shouted, nobody paid attention to him.

This story tells us that lying will lose the trust of others. Those who often lie, even if they sometimes tell the truth, no one believes him. We must be honest boys.
