As a newcomer in the workplace, you must understand the rules of the workplace. This is something you cannot learn in college or society. You must experience it yourself to understand it. Otherwise, you will have to make many detours to understand the rules of the workplace. The principle of survival.

Take me as a personal example. When I first entered the workplace, a lot of funny stories happened, which I can share with you.

In 2013, I had just graduated from college and studied automotive engineering, so I was assigned to be a maintenance worker in a 4S shop. This was my first job in life. When I faced my first job in my life, I was full of joy and excitement, thinking that I could make a valuable contribution to my life in this job. However, on my first day at work, I was slapped in the face by reality.

When I first went to the workshop to report, I didn’t know who to report to, so I yelled “Who to report to” in the workshop. As a result, as soon as I finished saying this, I was criticized by a very fierce-looking person and said, "How come you, a new employee, don't know the rules? Loud noises are not allowed in the workshop?"

When I heard this sentence, I felt very ashamed because my behavior just now was indeed rude, and I didn’t know how to help other employees prepare meals during lunch. I only care about myself and don't know how to clear the table after eating. In the end, I am still an old employee who reminds myself after eating. As a newcomer, you must be discerning and lively. In the later stage, the elderly will also be willing to help you at work.

At that time, I was still arrogant and could not listen to such teachings. As a result, I encountered a problem within a few days. I didn't know how to repair a car, so I went to ask a master, but the master didn't respond directly, which made me very embarrassed.

So I seriously reflected on my mistakes. After a period of time, I began to slowly change, and took the initiative to do some things within my ability, such as cleaning, and carrying a bucket of water by myself when there was no water. After persisting in this way for 2 to 3 months, I gradually got to know the old employees, and the old employees were very happy to give me some car repair skills.

This greatly improved my car repair skills, and later I changed jobs to work as a mechanic in another company. Whenever I think of this, I will always be grateful to those who have given me technology. Because of their help, I was able to establish my technical achievements today, and I gradually became an old man in the workplace from a newcomer in the workplace.
