Why did the reader stop broadcasting?

As the program was still not good enough, the readers stopped broadcasting. Details are as follows:

1, "The Scholar" is essentially a "star reading" although it aims at reading for all people on the surface. When The Reader was first broadcast, everyone thought it was the same mass stage as the Avenue of Stars. But after broadcasting several issues, everyone found that this was a huge "star show".

The "readers" invited by Dong Qing in the program are not students invited on campus, nor some teachers and professors with dry food in their bellies, but some celebrities and stars. Among these celebrities and stars, some people's reading level is open to question. Although some people are artists, they are sure to read lines, but they can't read the true inner essence of their works because of their lack of civilization.

2. The content of reading aloud is usually some obscure chapters, many of which can't attract the audience's interest. Many works are either readers' own works or translated works of foreign literary works, which do not show the essence of China traditional literature.

3. Dong Qing's cultivation is still a little poor. Although Gao Fei, from the Chinese Department of East China Normal University, is famous for her intellectuality in CCTV, judging from her words and deeds, there is still a big gap between her accomplishment in literature and some experts, which is also a major factor restricting readers' continuous deepening.

The latest program progress

Recently, Dong Qing and Mei Tian, the general director of Reader, went to her alma mater, East China Normal University, to learn from the classics and seek the opinions of teachers and students.
