Back to the mobile phone, the external telephoto lens of the mobile phone is not limited by the space of the mobile phone, and you can do a lot to get better picture quality. In addition, the external lens of the mobile phone works with the main lens of the mobile phone. Enjoy the super-large image sensor, super-high pixels and even the super-large aperture of the main lens.

Therefore, the photos taken by the mobile phone with the external telephoto lens are better than the telephoto quality of the mobile phone. Of course, the quality of external lenses is also uneven, so we only discuss high-quality external lenses here.

Optical zoom refracts light through a lens. The zoom of the mobile phone only enlarges the image, and the pixels have not changed. Strictly speaking, the zoom of a mobile phone is not a zoom, but a matter of how many times it is magnified.

Due to the limitation of mobile phone space structure, it is difficult to make a telephoto machine with too long length. Those so-called oversized cups are just digital zoom. This function has existed since the beginning when the mobile phone supported the camera. It is just an algorithm problem. However, in terms of image quality, because it is an external lens, the image quality is greatly affected by the connection quality. Even if the connection is well done, it is impossible to achieve a completely seamless system. So from this point of view, the picture quality is still different from that of the camera!
