Why do many people look down on academic diplomas?

In today's society, there are more impetuous forces, and the judgment of a person's success is basically focused on his economic strength. In this social background, the brilliance of academic diplomas has been obscured by the amount of money obtained. Many small bosses and some successful rich people have indeed achieved universally recognized success without a high degree diploma.

But one thing, having a diploma does not necessarily mean success, but not having a diploma is indeed an obstacle on the road to success. Many people are obscured by the color of quick success and instant benefit, and ignore those who have achieved great success in their careers. Because the diploma doesn't mean anything, the key moment is related to a person's character, mind, pattern, temperament and so on, which can't be brought by pure money.
