Rebirth-adjust your mind with writing.

Re-live-adjust your mind with writing.

I have bought this book for three months. I read it once and put it on the shelf.

The recent life can be described as "can't stop": after getting up every day and before going to bed, almost all the life fragments are taken care of cleanly. I accidentally remembered this book again, thought about some things I had understood before, and felt that I should read this book again.

I read this book again, and combined with my recent writing experience, I found many things worth thinking about.

"Writing" is the only goal.

Writing is like practicing meditation. You like writing, but you don't like writing. Inspired to write, not inspired to write; Happiness, pain, wind and rain should be written. Once you decide to start writing, you should resolutely put it into action.

It doesn't matter whether it's good or bad, what matters is whether you sit down and start doing it, and whether you allow yourself to write it in your heart.

Many beginners, including myself, will encounter such a problem when they are ready to start writing: what to write? Will my writing be laughed at?

Natalie told us clearly: Don't be afraid of what others think. Writing is for yourself. Don't think too much about what to do. As long as you write it. Write down everything you see with your own observation, your own concern and your own language. "Keep recording the details of life with a pen" and write out what you actually see and feel.

Slowly, through constant practice, you will find that writing is also very easy.

Combining with myself, I racked my brains for the sun a few days ago, and now I can write some feelings when I encounter snails or experience power outages. Unconsciously, it seems to be a big step forward.

There is no doubt that this is the result of action.

Don't think too much about the result of writing. "Once I write happily, writing itself is the greatest reward." .

Writing is like practice.

Natalie wrote this book for about two or three months, and finalized it once, with almost no changes. But before that, she had written alone in her own way for seven or eight years. In the process of continuous writing, the idea of this book has already accumulated in her mind like compost, which can make this book complete at one go.

This process is as hard and long as practice.

After she became famous, she still insisted on doing freelance writing exercises every day.

Natalie described the process of spiritual practice as "composting": we must compost constantly to make it more fertile, so that beautiful flowers can bloom from fertile soil.

As we often say, "Behind every successful person, there are unknown efforts and sweat"; It also confirms the two words we often use to encourage ourselves: persistence!

Believe in yourself, don't doubt.

Writing is the process of showing the mind. Believe in your own thoughts and feelings, and don't look around at things other than yourself. Believe in what you love, stick to it and it will take you where you need to go.

Learn to trust your heart, don't try to control it, no matter what you think, stick to this moment and keep writing; Write your true thoughts honestly, even if you write terrible or too many naked things, don't be afraid; If you are not afraid of your inner voice, you will not be afraid of criticism from others.

Reminds me of Jane's comment in one of my articles:

Sometimes, we just dare not admit our true self: "It is a good thing to realize that we are terrible, and we don't need praise or criticism, just realize it."

Write the real you, and someone will appreciate it!

"There is no simple truth about writing that can answer all doubts. There are many truths about writing in the world. Practicing writing means that eventually you have to explore your life in an all-round way. "

I like the author's honesty:

She honestly tells people that her method will not turn a person without writing talent into a great writer, but she can teach a way to contact and explore her own hidden world ... to help people find the courage and enthusiasm to create and break the rigid writing form.

Everyone can be a writer, not because you are talented, but because you dare to act!

I like the title of this book very much: Rebirth-Adjust your mind with writing!

Through writing, we can all meet different selves and regenerate our souls!
