Different places, different nationalities, different customs and habits will lead to different dowry.

In traditional society, there are two main reasons for giving dowry:

1, for the sake of a better life for your daughter and son-in-law, and to supplement your family, you'd better prepare for an emergency.

2. Try to win the position of the daughter in the man's family. Dowry can show the strong economic strength of the woman's family, so ancient women attached great importance to the dowry they brought to the man's family.

Dowry is generally gold and silver jewelry, bedding, daily necessities, children's barrels, gifts and so on.
