Socrates' wife is fierce. Once, she lost her temper and called Socrates. Before Yunu stopped breathing, she took a big bucket of water and poured it on her husband's head. Socrates scratched his wet hair and said with a smile, there will be heavy rain after thunder. This is the law of nature and the truth.

Newton was very absorbed in his studies. Once, a friend treated him. During the dinner, he remembered that there was a bottle of good wine at home, so he told his friends to wait and go home to get the wine himself. Friends were waiting around, but Newton didn't come back, so we had to investigate. It turned out that Newton thought of an experiment on his way home. When he got home, he plunged into the laboratory and started the experiment, completely forgetting about entertaining his friends with wine. On another occasion, when he was hungry, he boiled eggs to eat, but while thinking about the problem, he put the eggs in the pot. The problem was solved. When he wanted to eat eggs, he opened the lid and picked up his pocket watch.

* Sima Guang in the Song Dynasty was born in an official family. Wit and studious since childhood. Just turned 20, admitted to Jinshi. He is an honest official, who often studies in his spare time and is determined to write a general chronicle for people's reference. In order to seize the time to study, he specially made a log pillow. The magical function of the pillow is that when sleeping, the body will roll as soon as it rotates, and people will wake up to continue learning knowledge, so it is called "police pillow". Whenever Sima Guang needs a rest, he puts a "police pillow" on the pillow. As a result of this study, he finally became a knowledgeable person.

Important celebrity stories of students accumulating knowledge.

Kuang Heng, whose real name is Gui Zhi, was born in the East China Sea in the Western Han Dynasty (the name of Han County, now the sea area east of Pixian County in Jiangsu Province and the sea area east of Ziyang County in Lianshan East Province).

He was born in a peasant family, and his grandfather and father were farmers for generations. To Kuang Heng, but I like reading.

When he was young, his family was poor. He makes a living as an employee during the day and only has time to study at night. But the family is too poor to light candles.

The lights and candles next door are on, but they can't shine. Kuang Heng came up with an idea. He chiseled a hole in the wall next door and "stole" a little light from it to let the light from next door shine in.

He is reading with a book in his hand, reflecting the light in front of the hole. Kuang Heng's family is too poor to afford books.

There is a rich man in his hometown who has a rich collection of books. Kuang Heng went to his home to work, but he didn't receive any money.

The rich man was surprised and asked Kuang Heng why. Kuang Heng said, "I don't want to be paid. I only hope that you can lend me all the books at home, and I will be very satisfied. " Hearing this, the rich man was deeply moved by his studious spirit and agreed to his request.

Since then, Kuang Heng has had excellent reading opportunities. According to historical records, Kuang Heng was full of energy, surpassing ordinary people, rich in books, and Kuang Heng's hard work finally made him a learned scholar.

At that time, among the taxi drivers, there were even a few words passed down from mouth to mouth: "If you don't say" Poetry ",come here; Kuang speaks poetry and is considerate (no one can explain the Book of Songs, Kuang Heng has just arrived; Kuang Heng explained the meaning of The Book of Songs to everyone, and everyone laughed happily. " It shows that his popularity is very high.

At that time, many scholars worshipped him as a teacher and learned from him. During the Han and Yuan Dynasties, Zhang Heng was recommended as a doctor by the imperial court and later promoted to a doctor.

At this time, solar eclipse and earthquake occurred one after another. Fearing that this was a harbinger of disaster, Emperor Han and Yuan discussed political gains and losses with his ministers. Kuang Heng played last part, citing historical facts to explain that the astronomical phenomena are only a natural change of Yin and Yang, and the fortunes and blessings all lie in people's actions, the ethos of human society, and more importantly, the enlightenment and influence of the imperial court.

Therefore, the emperor should cut down the expenses of the court, get close to loyal officials and upright people, alienate disloyal officials and villains, select talents, and open up the way to accept advice, and so on. Emperor Han Yuan appreciated Kuang Heng's knowledge and promoted him to Doctor Guanglu and Prince Shaofu.

Pang Aifu, emperor of the Han Dynasty, and her son Ding Chao abolished the queen and prince. Kuang Heng earnestly exhorted this, and deeply analyzed the truth that "the family should be the master of the world" in order to prevent the national disaster.

Kuang Heng participated in the discussion of the major policies of the imperial court, quoted classics and expounded legal principles and morality, which was highly appreciated. He was promoted to GuangLuQuan, an ancient scholar, and later to Prime Minister, and was named Hou Le 'an. During the Han and Yuan Dynasties, the eunuch secretariat made the sages monopolize power, excluding and framing the sages.

Kuang Heng is too afraid of him to criticize him. After the death of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty acceded to the throne, and jointly impeached Shi Xian with Zhen Fu, the imperial censor, exposing all kinds of evil deeds of Shi Xian and his followers.

Shi Xian and his minions were duly punished. However, some people think that Kuang Heng, as the minister of Fuzheng, did not participate in the exposure in time in his early years, but failed to fulfill his responsibility and impeached him.

Kuang Heng also felt ashamed, repeatedly asked to resign, and was finally dismissed for occupying more fiefs. According to Kuang Heng's story, later generations summed up an idiom, "Digging the poacher to steal the column", which describes being diligent and eager to learn.

Sue never misses a punctuation mark-rigorous and meticulous in her studies. Li Bai's iron pestle is ground into a needle-perseverance, diligence and self-study.

Li Zhengdao has a wide range of interests-he is good at learning, dabbling in a wide range, and dialectical unity. Wang Xizhi: Linchi learns books, and the water in the pool is all black. Kuang Heng: Dig the wall for light.

Fireflies reflect the snow. Ouyang Xiu studied hard on the "three things" (pillow, horse and toilet), racing against time and cherishing time.

Wang Xizhi was a great calligrapher in China 1600 years ago in the Jin Dynasty, and was known as the "sage of calligraphy". There is an Amochi in Zhu Jie Temple on Shaoxing West Street, which is said to be the place where Wang Xizhi washes his pen. Wang Xizhi practiced calligraphy at the age of 7, and was diligent and eager to learn.

/kloc-at the age of 0/7, he stole his father's previous calligraphy works and read them. When he is mature, he practices writing. He sat by the pool every day practicing calligraphy, seeing off the dusk and welcoming the dawn. He finished writing more or less ink, more or less rotten pens, and washed pens in the pool water every day. It took a long time for a pool of water to become ink. This is the legendary Mo Chi that people see in Shaoxing today. Wang Xizhi concentrated on practicing calligraphy and forgot to eat and sleep.

When he was eating and walking, he was thinking about the structure of words and kept scribbling on his body with his hands. Over time, his skirt was worn out and everything paid off. Once, he wrote a plaque for someone, wrote a few words on the board and sent it to lettering. The sculptor found that the ink stains of the characters had penetrated into the board for about three minutes.

Therefore, people often use the "incisiveness" of idioms to describe the strong brushwork of calligraphy, and later use it to describe the profundity of opinions and discussions on things. Is it difficult to understand what happened in Peng Duanshu? For it, it is easy and difficult; If you don't do it, it's hard for easy people.

Is it difficult for people to learn? Learned, difficult people will be easy; If you don't learn, it will be difficult for easy people. I am too faint to catch people, and I am too incompetent to catch people; Learn when you are young, not long-term 1. The original gentleman of Xunzi said: learning is insufficient.

Green is taken from blue, and green is blue; Ice, water, but colder than water. Wood is straight in the rope and is considered as a wheel. Although it is violent, it is natural to let it stand still.

Therefore, the wood is straight by the rope, and the golden tip is beneficial. A gentleman is knowledgeable and cares about himself every day, so he will know clearly and won't do anything wrong.

So, if you don't climb the mountain, you don't know the height of the sky. Don't go deep and thick [Xigu]; I didn't know the greatness of learning until I heard the words of my late king. The son of Yu Yue, a barbarian, was born with the same voice, long but different in customs, and taught naturally.

The poem says, "Dear Sir, there is no constant rest. Jing Gonger, goodness is integrity.

Listen to God and you will be blessed. "God is greater than Tao, and joy is greater than harmlessness.

I've been thinking about it all day. I might as well learn it in a minute. I've tasted it and I'm looking forward to it. Let's go hiking.

Climbing a mountain, the arm is not lengthened, but the person you see is far away. Call with the wind, the sound does not add disease, but the listener is obvious.

People who cheat horses are not only profitable, but also cause thousands of miles. People who make fake boats can't make water, but neither can they make rivers.

The life of a gentleman is the same, and the goodness lies in personal leave. There is a kind of bird in the south, called "Mongolian pigeon". It takes feathers as its nest, but it is woven with hair and tied with reeds.

When the wind breaks, the egg broken child dies. Bound the endless nest.

Three celebrity cases with persistence as the topic must have examples.

1 The most classic example is (iron grinds into needles). Everyone knows that there is an unpopular one: once in class, Socrates gave his disciples an assignment to do one thing and shake hands a hundred times a day. After a week, he asked how many people still insisted on doing it, and 90% people insisted on doing it. A month later, he asked again. Now only one person is insisting. That man is Plato. Su Qin is from Luoyang. Luoyang was the capital of the Zhou Emperor at that time. He wants to make a difference. He once asked to see Emperor Zhou, but there was no way to introduce him. In a rage, he sold his property and went to other countries to find a way out. But he ran for several years, but he didn't become an official. Later, he had no money and his clothes were worn out, so he had to go home. His family saw him. His wife sat on the loom knitting silk without even looking at him; He begged his sister-in-law to cook for him, but she ignored him and leaned down and walked away. Su Qin suffered a lot and was determined to win a sigh of relief. From then on, he studied hard and studied Sun Tzu's art of war until late at night. Sometimes I read until midnight, tired and sleepy, so I prick my thigh with an awl. Although it was painful, his spirit came and he continued to study. Legend has it that he tied his hair with a belt when studying in the evening. He woke up when his scalp ached. This is what people later called "hanging beam on the head and stabbing strands on the cone" to express the spirit of hard work. In this way, after more than a year of hard work, his knowledge is much richer than before. 3. Once upon a time, in the American Standard Oil Company, there was a small clerk named Akibot. When he stays in a hotel on a long trip, he is always under his signature. It says "four dollars a barrel of standard oil". Letters and receipts are no exception. As long as you sign, you must write those words. Day after day, year after year, he was called "4 dollars per barrel" by his colleagues, but his real name was not called out. Rockefeller, chairman of the company, said, "There are employees who work so hard and care about the company's reputation, so I want to meet him." So he invited leer. Akibot became the second chairman. This is something that anyone can do, but only Akibot has done it, and he is determined and enjoys it. Among those who laughed at him, there must be many talents and abilities above him, but in the end, only he became the chairman. Starting from small things is to pave the way for the future. Persistence is a rare quality.

Celebrity examples about the importance of after-class review

Confucius said: wouldn't it be pleasant to learn and learn from the times?

The most important thing in life is to grow up. How to grow, only learning. Confucius told us to keep learning, review and practice, emphasizing that learning and learning are a very happy thing.

In the past, we put too much emphasis on the boredom of learning, which is why we have this famous saying: there is no end to learning. The first half of this sentence is still very pertinent, so you must be diligent. The second half of the sentence is over, which clearly tells people that learning is very hard and this kind of suffering is endless. If you are a person with a certain sense of discrimination, you may understand that such suffering is not bitter, but only emphasizes the boredom of learning. But learning is not just reading, and not all learning is painful. If you tell it to primary school students, it will be a disaster. The intention is good, but the effect is just the opposite. How can a child know something too profound? Of course he doesn't like it when you tell him that studying is difficult. At least in his heart, he will begin to nourish a subconscious mind that rejects learning. What's more, there are always some parents and teachers who think they are knowledgeable and tell stories to their children all day. The child's young mind simply can't bear such intimidation and fright. When he is always in a state of tension and fear, how can he study and practice consolidation actively and happily?

Learning itself is actually a happy thing. For example, children learn to walk and talk, which are all learned in a cheerful and relaxed environment. Study, practice, review, and finally become an ability.

If you are satisfied, please adopt it. thank you ...

Stories of celebrities learning knowledge

Edison's learning story Edison only attended primary school for three months in his life, and his knowledge came from his mother's teaching and self-study.

His success should be attributed to his mother's understanding and patient teaching since childhood, which made Edison, who was originally considered an imbecile, become a world-famous "king of invention" when he grew up. Edison was curious about many things since he was a child, and he liked to try it himself until he understood the truth.

When he grew up, he devoted himself to research and invention according to his interest in this field. He established a laboratory in New Jersey and invented more than 2,000 kinds of things in his life, such as electric lights, telegrams, phonographs, film machines, magnetic ore separators, crushers and so on.

Edison's strong research spirit made him make great contributions to the improvement of human lifestyle. "Waste, the biggest waste is wasting time."

Edison often said to his assistant. "Life is short, so we should try to do more with less time."

One day, Edison was working in the laboratory. He handed his assistant an empty glass bulb without a lampholder and said, "Measure the capacity of the bulb." He bowed his head to work again.

After a long time, he asked, "What's the capacity?" He didn't hear the answer, but turned to see the assistant measuring the circumference and inclination of the light bulb with a soft ruler, holding the measured figures and bending over the table to calculate them. He said, "Time, time, why does it take so much time?" Edison came over, picked up the empty light bulb, filled it with water, handed it to his assistant, and said, "Pour the water into the measuring cup and tell me its capacity at once."

The assistant read out the numbers at once. Edison said, "How easy it is to measure. It is both accurate and time-saving. Why didn't you think of that? " ? Still counting. Isn't that a waste of time? "The assistant's face turned red.

Edison murmured, "Life is too short, too short. Save time and do more! " Edison was a poor worker before becoming famous. Once, his old friend met him in the street and said with concern, "look, this coat on you is very worn." You should get a new one. "

"Need it to be? Nobody knows me in new york. " Edison answered indifferently.

A few years later, Edison became a great inventor. One day, Edison met that friend again in the street of new york.

"Oh," exclaimed my friend, "why are you still wearing this old coat? This time, I have to change a new one anyway! " "Need it to be? Everyone here already knows me. " Edison still answered casually.

"Genius comes from diligence." The road to success for many writers and scientists is to study hard since childhood.

Look at the interesting stories of Lu Xun and Wang Yanan studying hard. Lu Xun chewed pepper to drive away the cold. Mr. Lu Xun studied hard since he was a child.

When I was a teenager, I attended Jiangnan Naval Academy and got excellent results in the first semester. The school awarded him a gold medal. He immediately took it to the street of Nanjing Gulou and sold it. Then he bought some books and a bunch of red peppers.

Whenever it's cold at night and he can't stand reading at night, he picks a pepper and chews it in his mouth, making his forehead sweat. In this way, he insisted on studying.

After studying hard, he finally became a famous writer in China. Wang Yanan sleeps in a three-legged bed. When Wang Yanan was a child, he was ambitious and loved reading.

When he was in middle school, in order to gain more time to study, he deliberately sawed off one foot of his wooden bed and turned it into a three-legged bed. I read until late at night every day. I went to bed when I was tired, and then I turned over in a daze. The bed leans in the direction of short feet. He woke up suddenly, got out of bed at once and read at night.

Every day, without interruption. As a result, he achieved excellent results every year and was praised as one of the three outstanding figures in his class.

Because he studied hard as a teenager, he eventually became an outstanding economist in China. Head-hanging beam pricks the police pillow to urge reading, digs the wall to steal light, fireflies reflect snow, Kuang Heng borrows light to study, Gou Jian pays a salary to reward his courage, Sima Guang writes with a log police pillow, acts as a mirror, Che Yin catches fireflies as a lamp, Sun Kang reflects snow, studies, digs the wall to steal light, Kuang Heng, a native of Donghai in the Western Han Dynasty (Han county name, the sea east of Pixian County, Jiangsu Province, and the east of Ziyang County, Lianshan East Province).

The story about the importance of knowledge 100 words.

Knowledge is very important. Without knowledge, life will be difficult step by step. There is a problem in my family that needs to be solved with knowledge today.

Early in the morning, my cousin who just came from the countryside yesterday turned on my computer and enjoyed it.

Cousin played for less than five minutes when the computer suddenly stopped. Cousin quickly woke up dad. My cousin told him about it.

I saw my father put on his clothes and went to the computer room. He plugged in two plugs and the computer was fine. It turned out that the two plugs were not plugged in properly, and my sister suddenly realized.

Knowledge is very important. If you have no knowledge, you may lose your life.

Celebrity stories about knowledge

No one has made such a great contribution to the progress of mankind except the great Newton and the great Einstein.

Even Newton and Einstein used to draw wisdom and inspiration from him. He is "the ideal embodiment of the combination of theoretical genius and experimental genius", and he is Archimedes of Syracuse.

Archimedes (Archimedes, 287-2 BC12) was born in a small village near Syracuse, Greece. He was born into a noble family, and was related to King Hilong of Syracuse, and his family was very rich.

Archimedes's father was an astronomer and mathematician, knowledgeable and humble. Influenced by his family, Archimedes became interested in mathematics, astronomy, especially ancient Greek geometry.

When he was just eleven years old, with the help of his relationship with the royal family, he was sent to study in Alexandria, Egypt. Alexandria, located at the mouth of the Nile, was one of the centers of cultural trade at that time.

There are magnificent museums, libraries and talented people here, which are praised as "the capital of wisdom" by the world. Archimedes studied and lived here for many years and had close contacts with many scholars.

He absorbed the excellent cultural heritage of the East and ancient Greece and made great contributions to his later scientific career. In 2 12 BC, Roman troops invaded Syracuse, and Archimedes was killed by Roman soldiers at the age of 75.

Archimedes' body is buried in Sicily, and the tombstone is engraved with a figure of a cylinder engraved with a ball to commemorate his outstanding contribution to geometry. Archimedes Achievement Archimedes is undoubtedly the greatest mathematician and scientist produced by ancient Greek civilization. His outstanding contributions in many scientific fields earned him the high respect of his contemporaries.

Archimedes worked out the areas and volumes of parabolic bows, spirals and circles, as well as the volumes of complex geometric bodies such as ellipsoids and paraboloids. In the process of deriving these formulas, he skillfully used the "exhaustive method", which is what we call the method of gradually approaching the limit today, so he is recognized as the originator of calculus calculation.

In this way, he also estimated that the value of ∏ was between and got the solution of cubic equation. Facing the tedious numerical representation in ancient Greece, Archimedes put forward an important method for calculating grades and used it to solve many mathematical problems.

Archimedes made the most outstanding achievements in mechanics, mainly focusing on statics and hydrostatics. In the process of studying machinery, he discovered the lever principle and used this principle to design and manufacture many machines.

He discovered the law of buoyancy in the process of studying floating bodies, which is also known as Archimedes principle. Archimedes also made outstanding achievements in astronomy.

He designed some balls and connected them with strings and sticks to imitate the movements of the sun, the moon and the stars, and made them rotate by water power. In this way, solar and lunar eclipses can be vividly displayed.

Archimedes thought that the earth was spherical and revolved around the sun, which was earlier than Copernicus' Heliocentrism 1800 years. Limited by the conditions at that time, he did not make a thorough and systematic study on this issue.

But it is remarkable to put forward such an opinion as early as the third century BC. Archimedes has many works. As a mathematician, he wrote many mathematical works, such as about spheres and cylinders, about cones and spheres, about parabola quadrature, about spirals and so on.

As a mechanic, he wrote many mechanical works, such as On the Balance of Flat Plate, On Floating Body, On Lever, On Center of Gravity and so on. In the book On the Balance of Flat Plates, he systematically demonstrated the principle of leverage.

When discussing floating bodies, he demonstrated the law of floating bodies. Archimedes is not only brilliant in theory, but also an engineer with practical spirit.

He designed and manufactured many institutions and machines in his life. In addition to the lever system, it is worth mentioning that there are weight lifting pulleys, irrigation machines, water pumps and military projectors. The water pump, known as Archimedes' water lifting screw, was invented to drain water from the cabin of a big ship.

The water pump can be carried to a high place through the screw handle, which has been widely used in Egypt and is the predecessor of modern screw pump. "Give me a fulcrum, and I can move the earth." Archimedes is not only a theorist, but also a practitioner. Throughout his life, he was keen on applying his scientific discoveries to practice, thus combining the two.

In Egypt around 1500 BC, people used levers to lift heavy objects, but people didn't know why. Archimedes devoted himself to this phenomenon and discovered the lever principle.

King Hennon always doubted Archimedes' theory. He asked Archimedes to turn them into living examples to convince people.

Archimedes said, "Give me a fulcrum and I can move the earth." The king said, "I'm afraid this can't be realized." You'd better help me tow that big boat on the coast. "

This ship was built by King Henon for the king of Egypt. It is big and heavy, and has been stranded on the coast for many days because it can't move. Archimedes readily promised.

Archimedes designed a complicated lever pulley system to be installed on the ship, and handed one end of the rope to King Henon. King Hennon gently pulled the rope, and a miracle appeared. The ship moved slowly and finally sank into the sea.

The king was surprised and admired Archimedes very much. He sent someone to post a notice saying, "In the future, no matter what Archimedes says, you must believe him." King Hennon asked the goldsmith to make a pure gold crown for him. After the completion, the king suspected that the craftsman had mixed silver into the gold crown, but the gold crown was as heavy as the pure gold originally given to the goldsmith. Did the craftsman play tricks? The problem of trying to test the authenticity without destroying the crown not only stumped the king, but also made the ministers look at each other.

Later, the king gave it to Archimedes. Archimedes thought hard about many methods, but all failed.

One day, he went to the bathhouse to take a bath. Sitting in the bathtub, he saw the water overflowing and felt his body being gently pulled up. He suddenly realized that he jumped out of the bathtub and went straight to the palace without clothes on. He shouted "Eureka" and "Frica" all the way. It is found that if the crown is put into water, the amount of water released is not equal to the amount of water released by the same weight of gold.
