A brief introduction to the story of the golden boy in the police

The play tells the story of a young policeman, Theo James, who rose to the top in a short time-when his peers were still patrolling the streets, he was already the director of the regional police station. Stella Maeve plays the protagonist's sister; Chi McBride plays detective Owen, the protagonist's partner; Bonnie Somerville plays Deborah McKenzie；, the only female detective in the homicide investigation team; Holt McCallany plays homicide detective Diaco and always imagines himself as a person with "extensive communication" and "network". Kevin Alejandro participated in the performance. The protagonist was originally played by Ryan Phillippe, but the actor was too busy performing the last season of "Damages" to perform the pilot show.

Clark only worked as a street patrolman for three years, and then he was promoted to homicide detective because of his outstanding performance at work. This unheard-of thing angered other detectives who worked hard for years to get this position. Most of them wanted to see Clark make mistakes and fall, while others were waiting to see his jokes. Detective Joe Diaco (Holt McCallany) is also an important member of this team. He has a wide range of contacts and a good network, which is a "treasure house" for Clark. Although Clark was very confident in his work, he lost his temper as soon as he got home. He is the only relative left of his minor sister Agnes(Stella Maeve), who is responsible for taking care of her life and helping her grow up. Agnes is infected with the bad atmosphere in society and always wants to prove her "maturity" in dangerous ways, which makes Clark very headache. With keen observation, witty mind and mastery of politics, Clark, the outstanding "golden boy" in the police field, will make every decision carefully and climb to the peak of life and career as quickly as possible. There is no doubt that this journey is by no means smooth.
