Why can’t college students find jobs in modern society?

In the first year after graduation, I felt that my academic qualifications had been trampled on. My academic qualifications were the highest, but my salary was not the highest. High education and high salary no longer go hand in hand. No more equal signs.

Many people may still look at this issue with old ideas. Because there were indeed some units in the past that divided salary levels based on academic qualifications, such as the basic salary for graduate students, the basic salary for undergraduates, and the basic salary for junior college students. They had a strict salary grade system. Even now some companies are in this situation. So what causes this situation of salary division by academic qualifications?

Lack of higher education. In the past, due to the discontinuity in the popularity of education and the college entrance examination system, the overall academic level of our country was not high. In order to attract highly educated talents, many companies will naturally use academic qualifications, the most obvious way of classification, to differentiate salary levels. At that time, it was true that higher education meant higher wages. This is also the case in the past when a college student was born in a family, and many people would feel that their life was settled. Especially in rural areas, college students are generally labeled as "golden phoenixes" and have a sense of honoring their ancestors. I remember when I was in school, after graduating from elementary school, a group of students could not go to junior high school and went to work after graduation. When they graduated from junior high school, another group of students could not continue to go to high school and went to work. When they graduate from high school, a large number of students will no longer be able to continue their studies in college. Among this large group of classmates, I don’t remember any elementary school classmates, and only a few junior high school classmates. One time I remember very clearly was when I was waiting for the bus to go to the county high school, a primary school classmate I met asked directly, "Are you still studying?"

They will think that why you have studied for so long and achieved such a high level is just for that high salary. Otherwise, you will be a joke in their mouths. For many children, especially those in rural areas, studying is to give them one more choice in life, or to make choices more leisurely. For those who are studying, academic qualifications represent a person's educational background, professional knowledge and learning attitude, and do not naturally equate to high wages. But for those who have not chosen to study, they may feel that a high degree without a high salary is a failure.
