Shaohua Mountain, seven kilometers southeast of Huazhou City, with the main peak at an altitude of 1664.4 meters, is far from Taihua Mountain in the east, hence the name Shaohua Mountain. Taihua Mountain and Shaohua Mountain, also known as "Erhua", are both famous Taoist mountains in China.

Because Shi Naian made a mistake about the geographical location of Taihua Mountain and Shaohua Mountain, the story of "making a scene in China" was also messed up accordingly. For example, Song Jiang and others want to intercept Su Taiwei, not under Shaohua Mountain near Huazhou, but under Taihua Mountain near Huayin County. The reason why there are so many geographical common sense mistakes in Water Margin is because the author Shi Naian lacks a geographical location, and Shi Naian has no map in his hand, so he can't make textual research, so he can only write casually.
