Why do many couples prefer to live apart rather than divorce?

Divorce is a matter for two families. Two people had an accident, and the families of both sides quickly persuaded each other to make peace, and there was almost no persuasion! Because the ancients said: it is better to get married once than to tear down ten temples! Therefore, under the persuasion of both sides, the two almost slowly accepted the status quo.
